Chalet Luna by Zermatt Premium Apartments

The view from the apartment is simply stunning, and the apartment itself is spacious, modern and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked most nights, able to make everything we would have had at home. All the windows have electronic blinds so it’s easy to make the bedroom dark, and we were both sleeping 8 or 9 hours a night (which was very necessary after long days in the hills). We were having such a great time that we decided to extend our stay the day before we were due to leave (a Sunday night). The owner was quick to reply and very polite and professional. Excellent service! All together this is a brilliant place to stay and I really can’t recommend it highly enough.

I would really struggle to fault this apartment. As others have said, it’s a fair walk from central Zermatt (made shorter by the lift), but this was a bonus for us for the great views, quiet setting and the wildlife who came to visit, including the black squirrels on the balcony.

Being able to ski in and ski out was just phenomenal. It is an easy walk into town. The view is simple amazing. Such a full view of the Matterhorn. Lots of windows and good space for three buddies traveling together. We would definitely stay here again.

This is ohhhhhh so picky but I would use The Nespresso brand maker. The Italian one (I’m guessing) was far inferior to Nespresso. I would like to have double sets of pillows for each person. Again this is picky but it could add a bit of comfort.

Spacious, clean, decorated in simple and modern style, and very well equipped especially the kitchen, a very comfortable place to stay. The host responsed promptly with clear instructions while leaving the guests all at ease with the feeling that the apartment was their home away from home. The location of the apartment is super too, when you discover the "shortcut" to Zermatt downtown: take the route towards the tunnel, go through it or beside it, then you will reach the lift to Sunnegga Station; take the lift down and you are just steps away from downtown, the Gornergrat Station, and Zermatt Station. It's an easy route to walk even with luggage. With this route, the apartment is not at all far from town while enjoying a great view of Zermatt and Matterhorn. I will sure recommend this place to stay.

The first night was a bit cold. We were told that the heating system need 24 hours to heat up. It would be better if the heating were switched on before we arrived. The total amount of payment was deducted when booking for testing of payment method. Though returned shortly, costs occurred because of transaction fees and currency fluctuation.
