Great location, big appartment

The apartment was poorly renovated and decorated for the asked price level. One bathroom is not enough and placing a bathtub in a bedroom is not adequate. The sofa is totally worn out. Kitchen is partly worn out.

We weren’t given any hotel amenities such as slippers, robes, dental kit or standard amenities.

Comfortable and stylish apartment

The size of the space was good for 4 guests. The service provided by staff was prompt and helpful; we needed some help ensuring we were using the stove/cooktop correctly, and someone was sent over immediately. The room was kept very warm, which was nice as our stay was during the cold season. The apartment was tastefully decorated. The appliances in the kitchen were modern and high quality.

The only downside is that there is no privacy for bathing. There is a decorative screen that is meant to cover the bath tub from view, but it's insufficient. If a curtain could be installed to guarantee true privacy for the person bathing, that would make a tremendous improvement.

The rooms, utensils in kitchen, bathroom were very clean and everything was very well placed.

That they gave us 3rd floor inspite of knowing that we had a senior citizen and a child.

Close to train station and well equipped

We stayed here in October (low season in Zermatt) and so had the chance to stay here for just 2 nights. It is about 5-10 minutes walk from the station, and 2 minutes from a Denner supermarket. Front desk staff Joseph was efficient and welcoming. It was a comfortable and well thought out compact apartment e.g. kitchenette with oven, utensils and basic kitchen supplies. Bathroom was spacious and sunny. The soap and lotion smelt nice. The hair dryer was good. The laundry room has 1 washing machine and 1 dryer and it was just next to our basement room. This was convenient for us to check on the progress and lug our washing back to the apartment. There are some steps up and down to the apartment.

The bed was a bit saggy and the pillows were too soft for me.

Terrific stay in great apartment!

Locations was a short walk from the train station. The apartment was super clean, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and lounge area, bathroom was very good. The balcony overlooked the local street which was busy with visitors and locals - a nice outlook.

There was a lot of building noise from 7:00 am - it did not bother us as we were early risers BUT would be annoying if you intended to sleep late. The laundry works well BUT is in the basement and serves the whole building so you may have to wait your turn!

Convenient and pleasant stay in Zermatt, with helpful staff.

A modern Apartment-hotel style residence, Chalet Antoine is tastefully decorated and located close to the main Zermatt railway station; this is important if you have a lot of heavy luggage, as there are some serious hills and stairs in this town! It is close to the Sunegga and Gornergrat bahns, as well as supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The room was cosy, but big enough, with modern appliances and cooking facilities. Staff were most helpful, allowing us to store our luggage both before check-in and after we left, which really helped us out!

Our main complaint was the bed, with a wide wooden edge, covered by the duvet - very painful on the shins when you forget it's there. Some instructions for the oven and a few more kitchen utensils would also be good.

Absolutely loved it. Best we’ve stayed the entire 2 week trip.

Really enjoyed the access to our own garden, the large bathroom, and our own kitchen within the room (with basic supplies like sugar, salt, pepper too!). Ample space in the room, can even fit an additional bed and cot if needed. We were also so glad to have very reasonably priced coin laundry (washer and dryer) right in the premise! Supermarket was just few steps away. Staff at the main hotel block was very friendly, and the luggage storage space was well organised (we had our own little space with lock and key, didnt have to worry about mixing with others). Most sights and access to cable cars were pretty much within walking distance - the entire town is. Best part is it’s right next to the train station! Would recommend anyone to stay here anytime!

The TV was placed at an awkward angle next to the bed - but nothing we can’t handle I suppose!

Good stay for a family.

5 mins walk from train station and 1 min to DENNER supermarket. The apartment is belong to hotel so it’s easy to check in. The apartment is really cute and fancy. Cooking facilities is really well equipped.

Excellent stay, would recommend

Our room was ground floor studio, very clean and tidy. All the staff we interacted with were so friendly and chatty. Location was excellent 5 minutes max to train and a short walk everywhere. Perfect for our 3 night stay, would highly recommend. Bonus was a laundry across the hallway.

Almost perfect loft in Zermatt

We (a family of 4 adults) spent 2 nights in the loft. It was spacious and comfortable. The apartment was equipped with dishes and cutlery. It was designed with taste and fashion

The fashionable design prevailed over common sense in one aspect. The apartment had opened bathroom. Completly opened, without any wall. Only a small openwork partition was provided. It did not provide any intimacy. Nobody felt comfortable while taking a shower. It would be OK for a couple, but not for 4 people. I am aware some people may find it very fancy, but I cannot appreciate such a design.

Stay in a perfect location with all the comforts of home

Perfect location – right next to the train station and the Old Town. The apartment is spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated down to the smallest detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless. It had everything we needed – delicious coffee, a luggage storage room, and even bath salt! The host was very helpful. We would happily come back again and again!

Facility is conveniently located very close to the train station and village. It's situated in a quiet street. And the apartment was very neat, tidy and cozy. Everything we needed for our family's stay was available. The host was very responsive and came to the apartment promptly to check the oven that was not shutting off on first day, and he took care of it by switching off the main switch and getting it checked by a technician the next day.

It was impossible to get an early check-in, despite multiple requests. It was not possible to get it even 1-2 hours early check-in. So we delayed our trip to get to the facility exactly at the check-in time. I wish I was able to receive an early check-in.

Multiple nuisances that would have made the stay annoying if we were there longer otherwise comfortable and Location was

Location was perfect. 2 blocks away from the train station and right next door to a grocery store. Overall 8 adults fit perfectly regarding sleeping arrangement. Check in process was easy and convenient beds were comfortable and more than enough beds for everyone. We also could see the Matterhorn from the balcony.. they even gave us 8 key cards which were really handy.

A few things that made the stay a tad weird. We only stayed for 2 nights but could see it being annoying if we were to stay longer. There’s really only 1 shower. The tube in one of the rooms isn’t very functional to wash up in. There’s another half bathroom but that’s it. Showering was a tad difficult. The kitchen sink was loose so if it was on the cold setting and you turned it off, it would slowly turn back on due to gravity on the handle. You had to keep it on hot. Ultimately this wasn’t a big deal but a tad annoying. The fridge was tiny and one of the shelves on the door was broken when we got there limiting space. There was no freezer option which really limited what we could buy. The dishwasher was a half size so it didn’t really fit much. The worst part was when going into the hallway there was a raised lip that we jammed our toes on many many times on…

We paid a lot and we got an unclean apartment and they told us cleaning is not part of it, didn't bring toilet paper or shampoo, one bed was on the floor and uncomfortable at all Not recommend Will get to a hotel next time at that price..

Breakfast and facilities

Because of the allowed animals in the apartment, carpet was full of some animal hair, consequences of being in socks was bit sad. No droping things on the floor, no bear food walking around and stepping on the bed or sneakers. My dog at home still hate me because of some different smell.

Excellent location & comfortable for a big family

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from train station, Denner supermarket, the village, Sunnega cable and the bus stop to the Matterhorn Paradise cable. Communication was clear. We were able to store our luggage securely before check in & after check out. Beautifully furnished unit with complete kitchen utensils & Ritual toiletries. My family had a great and comfortable stay. Thank you.

No lifts in the building so those with big luggages & mobility issue may have trouble walking up and down the stairs. Our unit was on the first floor so that wasn't an issue. Otherwise everything is perfect!

Perfect little apartment walking distance from everything

- very handy position 5 min walking to the train to the top, train station, Denner and city center - perfect to be in an apartment belonging to a hotel so you have more privacy and space for a family with kids, but also all services of a hotel available - beautiful style, fresh and pretty - smart layout of the apartment: it didn’t feel cramped although it was not big - great with 11:30 checkout

- Would be great if the TV had apps, such as Netflix etc - the spa is a little bit too expensive

Cozy stay in Zermatt

We booked a 3-bedroom apartment with Matterhorn view. The apartment was same as photos. Only 3-5 mins walk to Zermatt station and 1 min to supermarket. Very cozy environment and we had a warm stay in Zermatt.

No lift in the hotel apartments difficult to carry big luggage’s but the staff helped us else it was a big issue.
