La Conchita Tulum

Les chambres étaient tres bien, l'emplacement est bien, il y a des restaurants et brunch en face pour les repas. La plage tres belle sans les sargasses. Nous étions en saison basse donc nous étions quasi seuls dans l'hôtel et la ville, c'était tres chouette. Je recommande.

Nous étions à un moment ou les sargasses étaient tres tres presentes, nous n'avons pas pu utilisé la plage de l'hôtel a cause des alges et de l'odeur. Nous sommes allé a la piscine de l'hôtel voisin pour 200pesos par personne. Aussi l'une de nos chambres était en rdc et il y avait un certain nombre de bêtes qui entraient (lézards, insectes).

Went for valentines. Loved how the property was right in front of the beach. It exceeded our expectations and the room we stayed in was bigger than in the picture with a nice beachfront view. We enjoyed the view from the terrace. They also had their own beach beds and umbrellas for guest staying.

It is even more beautiful than advertised. I could see and hear the beach right from my room. The location is wonderful, there are a wonderful restaurants right across and beside the hotel. It is easy to get to from Tulum downtown. It is not an isolated area but it is not overcrowded or bursting with traffic either.

Not the hotel’s fault, but the beach here at the hotel in April has a lot of seaweed, so you may not be comfortable swimming in it. However, the seaweed is a rich golden brown/golden yellow colour, it’s actually pretty to look at. The staff also tries to remove/ reduce the seaweed washed ashore, but I think the seaweed serves a purpose because the beach tides and waves are strong and intense.

Supposed to have a private beach but it's just two rows of beds and they are operated by the bar next door. Two days were ruined for us because they let some noisey groups use the beds. Loud music and weed. Shower was weak and no bathroom tissue to go in the toilet.. don't know if this is everywhere in Tulum beach. ....and Tulum beach is full of the Insta crowd taking selfies. Drinks and food at London prices and cabs minimum 20 Euro to go 5 minutes. Avoid the whole area if you can. Shabby Chic was a 90s thing anyway.
