    We had a beautiful and memorable stay at Azulik. The property is truly unique, with stunning architecture, peaceful jungle surroundings, and an atmosphere that feels very different from a regular hotel stay. The views, design, and overall experience were unforgettable, and it was a perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy something special. The staff were kind and welcoming, and we really appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the stay.

    Our stay at Azulik was truly an amazing experience! It's like walking through a dream! My wife absolutely loved every part of our stay. The beauty and closeness to nature of Azulik is beyond compare. The staff and the food was also equally impressive. I would highly recommend Azulik to anyone who is considering visiting there. You will be more than amazed!

    I stayed in the Jungle Room and I didn't find this hotel to be a good value for the money. The property is very unique and the Instagram worthy design is part of it's charm, but overall it's poorly and cheaply constructed and difficult to navigate. Most of the staff were nice, but overall I was just very uncomfortable throughout my stay. My biggest issues were: 1. There are no lights in the rooms. Rooms are only lit by a few small candles. At sundown it's essentially pitch black. 2. There is only 1 power outlet in the room, located far from the bed. There is no power outlet by the bathroom if you need one to get ready for the evening (i.e. hairdrier, shaver, etc.) 3. There is no shower, only a bath tub. I probably should have been aware of this. I assumed the bath was a bonus. 4. The doors don't shut all the way, so bugs can get into your room all day and night. There's a reason they have nets around the beds. It's not just for looks. 5. There was a lot of construction I wasn't made aware of prior to my stay, as of 12/2024. They were actively doing construction during the day at the beach club, which was both unsightly and noisy. 6. The hotel restaurants are outrageously overpriced even by US standards. Get familiar with the area for alternative options within walking distance.
