Perfect 10 day stay in the historic center of Perugia

A beautiful, spacious, quiet, well equipped and nicely decorated apartment, with a fabulous panoramic view from the high- ceiling living room and only a two minute walk to the cathedral, museums, medieval buildings and other sites in the historic center of Perugia. Also, very close by the flat, were many superb restaurants and shops. The mini- metro, a remarkable autonomous transportation line - that serves the main train station- was about a four minute walk from the flat and extremely convenient. In addition, it was very easy to get to the main bus terminal (think Gubbio) from the apartment, by simply walking down the nearby main street in the upper city (Vannucci) and taking multiple levels of escalators to the station from Piazza Italia. Marco was very helpful and promptly assisted us with every request.

Big Brother's Mason

This is the most stylish, well furnished apartment we ever rented. The location is also very difficult to beat: it's a 5 minute walk from the Sant'Antonio parking structure and you a 2 minute walk to the heart of Perugia.

BIG BROTHER: on booking.com host reports that "there is a webcam at the entry gate to check on who is entering the premises"... well, the webcam is actually at the front door inside the apartment and, although the camera field of view is limited by a screen, the webcam features two-way audio, which is highly illegal and disturbing. I do not mean to doubt hosts' ethics, but they can basically listen to and record whatever you say. This bothered us so much that, if I were still living in Italy, I would have reported it to the police.

Wonderful apartment in Perugia

The location was fantastic- extremely central. The flat itself is spacious and done up really stylishly but the cherry on the cake was the stunning view. We arrived at night and couldn’t see were we were but in the morning on opening the shutters we were awed by the wonderful view. We also found coffee, sugar, toiletries and many other things which was great as we were there for just a couple of days and so didn’t have to buy them.

As other reviews have mentioned the entrance to the block could be improved, however I am glad to have read about it as hadn’t I known I would have been worried on arriving - especially as it was night time. Apart from that everything was great and wish we could have stayed longer!

Bellissima location

Location ottima, a pochi passi dal centro storico e da qualsiasi servizio. Ambienti arredati con cura, è stato facilissimo il recupero delle chiavi per l'ingresso nella struttura e per il checkout. Host gentili e disponibili.

Il parcheggio è un po' ostico, non ci sono molti posti disponibili nelle immediate vicinanze e la struttura si trova in una ZTL, non segnalato sull'annuncio. La pulizia del bagno e delle stoviglie al nostro arrivo non era sufficiente, abbiamo dovuto provvedere noi al lavaggio prima di poter utilizzare le stoviglie e la doccia presenta incrostazioni molto evidenti. Gli host per venirci incontro ci hanno fatto un piccolo sconto, che abbiamo apprezzato. La seconda stanza è decisamente piccola, quasi impossibile non svegliare l'altra persona quando ci si alza dal letto in quanto è addossato al muro. Decisamente troppi i messaggi inviati ogni giorno con le regole della casa, ne sarebbe bastato uno a inizio soggiorno, ho trovato fastidiose le repliche.
