Brilliant hide-away up on the hills from Ascona, Ticino / Switzerland!

- Unique location of the property overlooking the Lago Maggiore, with the Isole di Brissago among the highlights of the view. - Modern room with a spacious balcony (with a splendid lake view), good shower and and separate toilet. For once, the absence of a TV was not missed. - Exquisite cuisine / well-selected and skillfully prepared dishes served at the hotel's own restaurant which enjoys a high reputation with both locals and guests. - Free outside parking. - Friendly and welcoming attitude of the hotel staff.

A lovely welcoming stay in Ascona!

Lovely property. Delicious food in the restaurant. Looks like it would have been a stunning view if it wasn’t raining when I stayed! It’s a 4 generation family owned hotel which is cool.

Driving there with my rental car was a little bit difficult with the confusing narrow roads.

Nice view and fine breakfast. A nice pool up in the hills! Nice that the busstop is right outside the door, but not too many buses going that direction. Other than that a nice place. Good service from the host in accommodating our needs.

Avoid room 9, right above the kitchen and quite noisy. But that can be solved with any other room I believe. It was solved with a different room for us. Should also be aircondition in a potentially hot place like this, and a small fridge would be great.

I had a great experience in this hotel: the room was small, but clean and cosy, the view on the lake is FANTASTIC (I can't emphasize this enough), the village itself is very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was simple, but good. Very nice place to stay for those who appreciate peace and quiet.

Pillow in my room was very soft and thin, not really comfortable to sleep on.

Fantastische, wunderschöne und ruhige Lage. Herzlicher Empfang, super sympathisch, hilfsbereit, kompetent, professionell. Auf Spezialwünsche wurde eingegangen. Sensationelle Zimmer mit atemberaubender Aussicht (man sieht sogar aus der Dusche durchs Zimmer auf die Isole di Brissago), modern, komfortabel, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles extrem sauber. Feines Frühstück.
