Apartment Chalet Spassvogel by Interhome

Loved the views from the apartment it was comfortable and spacious. It was away from the hustle of the main square. The cogwheel train to Klein schneidig went past the apartment. Grindelwald is sos beautiful its difficult to complain about anything.

The google location is not accurate due to which i spent an hour with my luggage trying to find the place and as its mountaneous terrain it was not a happy experience. The last mile connectivity to the apartment is offered by a bus which is on an hourly basis and the last bus from town to the area was at 6p.m approximately os its a 10 min walk down to the apartment . If you miss the hourly bus then its an uphill walk of 15 minutes to the town centre/station. Not enough trashbags for 5 night stay.

Property is located with a nice mountain view. We have the entire 2nd floor. Rooms are quite big and beds are comfortable.

Water heater was suddenly not working at around 7 pm on our first evening. After reaching Interhome reception, there was also no promise that the water heater issue would be fixed as it was a Saturday evening. We approached a nearby neighbor and they were extremely kind and nice, and offered our family to shower at their property (so grateful to meet wonderful Swiss folks). Not sure how, hot water resumed at around 9.30 pm though we did not see any repair man. Kitchen does not come with baking paper, aluminum foil and cooking oil, there was only one toilet roll for 4 nights (for a family of 4), and two trash bags for 4 nights. All these were a surprised for us as 3 other properties that we stayed prior to arriving here were all so well equipped sufficiently. In addition the sink at the kitchen seemed choked, water was flowing slowly. I will think twice to come back to this property again (maybe just to visit the wonderful neighbors).

Excellent location. Small but well equipped for a family! Great powerful shower. Everything you need for a week in the mountains. Beautiful Mountain View’s, balcony with awning for the hotter days was appreciated too. Bus stop is a two minute walk that you can see from the apartment.

Nothing. Minor-No microwave but wasn’t stated as having one anyway- after a long day coming home with ready meals really would had appreciated popping them in the microwave over putting the stove on. I do appreciate space in the kitchen is at a premium and probably nowhere to put one!

Lage der Wohnung. Alles sonst OK

Preis/Leistung stimmt aus meiner Sicht nicht. Ich habe ähnliche Wohnungen in Grindelwald gehabt aber für einen deutlich kleineren Preis. 1200.- wäre angemessen. Diese war mit Abstand die teuereste Wohnung die ich je in Grindelwald gemietet habe.
