Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites - Ultra All Inclusive

The staff and the food in the restaurants were fantastic. The pool bar staff were great. The service at the sun bed was attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The free tickets to Atllantis water park is a nice touch. The Guest services were great

The wifi was slow. The AC wasnt working in the room or the lift in our building, in 45 degree heat this was uncomfortable. The breakfast drinks service was slow, sometimes our drinks would arrive after we had finished eating and often the drinks would be wrong or they forgot one. Our two bed suite is in need of refurb it was tired looking - nothing like the rooms in the pictures

Clean, quiet, staff are really attentive.

There needs to be more to do in the evening. One sports bar is not enough and can be quite repetitive if you are staying for a week or more.

We thought the staff were amazing. They couldn’t do enough to help every request. The quality of food was definitely 5 star! The location, the atmosphere- great to unwind and to have some fun too.

We’ve stayed in several top-rated hotels in Dubai over the years, but nothing compares to the experience we had at Rixos The Palm. From the moment we arrived until the moment we (reluctantly) checked out, the service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality were absolutely outstanding. The food deserves special mention: an exceptional variety, freshness, and quality across all restaurants. The buffet was consistently rich and beautifully presented, offering something for everyone at every meal. The sushi evenings were a true culinary delight – a beautifully laid-out sushi bar with a wide and generous selection that felt more like a specialty restaurant than a hotel offering. The restaurants and bars are of a remarkably high standard, not only in food quality but also in service – professional, fast, attentive, and always with a smile. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a drink by the pool – we felt genuinely cared for. What truly sets Rixos apart is the service. We’ve experienced great hotels, but the level of care, responsiveness, and warmth from the staff here was unmatched. From the front desk to the WhatsApp personal assistant, every request was handled quickly and kindly. The entire staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure a flawless stay. Our room was kept immaculately clean, with fresh flowers and thoughtful touches every day. The housekeeping team was meticulous, and their attention to detail made us feel special. One of the highlights was how the hotel made our 6-year-old daughter’s birthday unforgettable – surprising her with not one, but five different birthday cakes throughout our stay in the most heartwarming and joyful moments. It’s that kind of thoughtful gesture that makes Rixos more than just a hotel – it becomes a cherished memory.

There was truly nothing we didn’t like – everything was thoughtfully executed to the highest standard. The staff genuinely think of every little detail, from the smallest guest request to the overall atmosphere and even the meticulous maintenance of the entire property. The hotel is not only beautiful, but also extremely well-kept, clean, and clearly cared for with pride and professionalism.

Excellent service. The staff was very attentive and responsive. The chief at the restaurant was cooking fries for our kid as she requested fries only and didn’t except anything else. The girl at the reception (unfortunately don’t remember her name) upgraded our room which was very nice.

We’ve stayed 2 nights only and didn’t notice anything we wouldn’t like.

Restaurant was family friendly with brilliant child meal options, particularly for babies with pouches available. Soft play inside the Buffet was a nice touch to allow you to eat your food whilst your child played. Lots of Pools with a swim up bar, kids club pool and inside softplay which was great for the hot parts of the day.

Not being aware that we had to book any restaurants in advance as we only booked the hotel on the day. We had to have the buffet both days despite restaurants looking empty. Pool attendants were friendly but service was bad on the swim up bar as not enough staff.

Kids club

It is soooooo overpriced! 3 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment will cost you 10k ($) so you expect luxury. The apartment was clean, the furniture old, the bathrooms were so run down and old it is embarrassing- I would say 3 * hotel. Absolutely not what I expected given the price. The resort is all inclusive ( the wine list includes the cheapest wines you can imagine and Prosecco - no champagne) the food is ok but nothing amazing, very average. The service is the restaurants is great, the check in desk not friendly otherwise all of the staff helpful and friendly. We had a big issue with baby cot they provided for our child. It was a playpen with no matters, in place of the matters they folded a duvet and covers it with oversized loose bedsheet. I was horrified when I saw this and there is no way any parent would risked their child’s life and let them sleep in that. They did changed the crop for an appropriate one it only took an hour and a half past our check in time (nap time) and the crib was requested before we arrived. There was construction going on outside our window so we had to ask for them to stop - our friends who stayed in the 3 bed suit had the same issue. Overall I think this place needs to close down for a big renovation and improvements. Someone has to brief them on child safety. Pools are not heated. The lovely water park pool was also not heated most small children were playing in the hot tub because the pools were freezing cold. Hot tub was not hot but it was definitely not as cold as the pools. I would not recommend this property if you are looking for luxury and value for money.

Variety of food and drinks served at restaurants. Room size, bed was very comfortable, amazing views of Marina, hotel facilities, kids club, staff at reception (Mr. Usman especially), staff at swimming pools bars and valet parking, towels, pillows, free WiFi

Some staff needs training (restaurant, shops, spa). Selection of music at swimming pool areas during the last hours shall be changed, 70's, 80's, French, Jazz and Blues are not exactly what is expected to listen around the pool or at the beach. No pharmacy in the hotel and none of the staff was not not able to advise where is the nearest pharmacy (not aware if the other hotels in the Palm Jumeirah have a pharmacy).

Amazing staff with excellent service in all bars, restaurants and around the pool. Our room was a great size and beds very comfy. Delicious food in all restaurants and it was good to be able to book the a la carte restaurants too. Turquoise was our favourite for breakfast. Kids club was fantastic with brilliant facilities and activity program for kids. The evening disco was a particular hit.

Whilst our room was as big it was a little tired looking for a 5 star hotel. Otherwise no complaints at all!

Everything is lovely at this hotel especially the staff.

No entertainment whatsoever for families in the evening. If you are under 21 you cannot use the beautiful bar. If this was permitted to families up to say 10pm then over 21’s after, then that would help very much in making this hotel more accepting to families with children.

The pool and location were excellent, and the staff were professional and attentive. The complimentary Alantis Aqua Park tickets were well received, and as a family, we loved the fact Rixos did this.

There was nowhere to go with your family inside the hotel, you were limited to being outside, which was unbearable in the heat. A family room with some older kids facilities and the ability to have a drink still would be a welcome addition on an evening.

Fantastic experience, beautiful property, exceptional staff. We loved every moment of our stay!

Restaurants have a break between 17.00 and 18.30 so you cannot find food at this time, it is difficult when you have a small child who usually has his dinner at this time.

The light of the sun goes through curtain of the room and you should add more light in the bathroom and the Jacuzzi

Evening Entertainment area is quite small and doesn't have the same buzz and vibe as the Rixos in RAK for example. There was the option to take a taxi and go to other evening venues and places nearby though.
