The room was beautiful and the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you.Good position for a bus into Edinburgh and free private parking for our car.

The message we received about the door code was sent through Booking.com and we were not told after booking we would need to look for it to get into the property.

It was a bit small and no lift

Sonas Guest House sits close enough to the centre that you can easily walk in. After getting off the airport bus at Waverley Bridge, we decided to skip the second bus and walk instead - Google showed around 2.5 km and 35 minutes, and it turned out to be a brilliant decision, since we got to see a good part of the city on the way. The guest house was easy to find. Check-in was just as easy: the door code worked and the keys were waiting inside. The room was small but cosy, spotlessly clean, and very quiet. We were greeted with a small welcome treat, which was a lovely gesture. Another thoughtful touch was the EU-to-UK plug adapter left in the hall - it genuinely saved us, as all our phone chargers were EU ones and we would have had no way to charge them otherwise. The neighbourhood is quiet and very pleasant, with some lovely spots for breakfast nearby, such as The Earl of Grange Cafe and KIVA. The room was cleaned daily, and throughout the whole stay we did not have a single problem. Everything went perfectly.

Easy to access, quiet, and safe residential location. The room has a very cozy and welcoming vibe, making you feel right at home. A few minor details could be improved, though: the shower water pressure was a bit weak, the disposable slippers looked a little discolored, and the toiletries were quite small. Overall, it was still a very pleasant and enjoyable choice for a holiday!
