Befanis was the best B&B that we have stayed in , from the time we entered these premises we were greeted with the most friendly warm welcome from Caroline the owner ,and as for the staff exceptional warm kind friendly & very helpful ,what a fantastic Team .Befanis was also spotless clean Breafast was fantastic ,would highly recommend & will defiantly be back .super place to stay ❤️

A perfect weekend in Ireland.

The location was perfect, we were close to everything so shopping and going to eat were a breeze. The food was phenomenal. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Not that we didn’t like it but there are a lot of stairs so you just have to be mindful of that when booking.

Amazing food, amazing place.

Really great place with amazing staff. It was comfortable, clean, with GREAT food both at dinner and breakfast. We were able to park right in front. The host and owner was so sweet and took good care of us.

Lots of stairs to our room, which was because we wanted the room with three beds. Not their fault or a huge drawback, just be aware of it if you don’t want to take a lot of stairs to your room!

Could improve

We were greeted warmly by the staff and they were very helpful throughout our stay. Food in the restaurant was great, as was the breakfast. Ideally situated to the town.

We had quite a few stairs to climb with our luggage which was difficult. The rooms were comfy, but tired looking and lacked some basic facilities (no light above the mirror, no fridge, very thin towels, TV the size of a laptop screen and unable to be moved to see it).

Lovely Townhouse

This is my third visit to Befanis when visiting Clonmel. Very nice cozy rooms. Lovely breakfast with many choices as well. Beautiful restaurant, too! Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Great location and value for money

Excellent location, right in the middle of town. Easy check in as someone was available straight away and they advised us on parking. We parked in a nearby car park then moved the car to the road outside. Comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice. We dined in the restaurant on Friday night and the tapas was wonderful and service was perfect. We left some glasses in the room after we left and they phoned to let us know and have arranged to post them to us. We would definitely recommend.

Cosy well located town house. Good value

Very good value for money. Nice town house in downtown Clonmel so close to all shops etc. Although the room overlooked a street the windows were well soundproofed and we had no noise issues. The lady in charge was very helpful and friendly. The morning breakfast was a full cooked breakfast. Room was spotlessly clean. If I was to stay in Clonmel again i would choose this house.

Delicious tapas dinner- good choice and thank you for the gluten free options. Breakfast was very good- excellent fruit platter especially.

Not the hotel’s fault, but late night revellers, followed by early morning street cleaning meant a disturbed night.

Manager/Owner was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and was able to assist with good parking options. The room was spotless and was pleasantly decorated. Tea tray well-stocked. Breakfast was very good with friendly and attentive service.

Lovely B&B in Clonmel

It was right near the Main Street of Clonmel, had private bathrooms and comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly.

It was warm so we had to open the window and then the noise from outside kept us awake but honestly that wasn't the property's fault and I'd stay there again if in Clonmel

Lovely place to stay and lovely staff

Lovely room and restaurant. Excellent food, and staff are helpful, friendly and efficient.

Our only issue is that the road outside can be a bit noisy early in the mornings. Otherwise, Befani’s is a lovely place to stay, right in the town centre. There is no parking on site, but there are several car parks within easy walking distance.

With the room being based above a restaurant I didn't expect much... But the quality was of a 5 star hotel... If you are looking for a B&B in Clonmel this is the place... Great room, great staff and the food there is great as well... Within the city centre... I couldn't expect more from the stay... 😊👍

Ideal place to stay in downtown Clonmel. Hostess Caroline very friendly, welcoming and attentive to all our requests. Room spacious and spotless. Served breakfast delicious. Great location with paid public carpark nearby. We will be back!

Exceptional B&B

Excellent B&B in town centre. Breakfast as usual is ahead of any accommodation I stay in anywhere in Ireland. Staff were so helpful and friendly, they go out of their way to make sure everything is okay. I’ve stayed there many many times and it keeps getting better. Thank you Befani’s.

Nothing to do with the B&B but one guess was either locked out or thrown out of their room (by room mate) and they kept banging on the room door in the middle of the night for ages and ages. I think the person responsible should leave an explanation as to why they made such a disturbance in a classy establishment where all the other residents were very respectable.
