I thought the bathroom needed a deep cleaning. I was in room 43 which had a bathroom for the disabled. There was a black scum around the hinge of the chair in the bathroom. There was a glass shelf over the sink was at a dangerous slant which meant everything slipped off it.

Very good for what's offered. Very close to the city in general, 10 minute walk approximately. There's I believe a Shakedog right next door as well. Staff were very nice and friendly even giving recommendations of where to go in the city as me and a friend have never been. Would definitely come back

Only one thing really as everything was great but there were no toiletries such as shampoo or conditioner. Again not a huge problem by any means but just something to note. They did have soap as an option though to be fair

The price we paid was great for what we got

There was no chair or table in the room. The website stated that breakfast was available. Unfortunately there is no food available at this place. We were told that there are a number of local diners and restaurants to get food from.

The bathroom ensuite was a health hazard, literally. Black mould on shower and tiled walls was horrendous and floor linoleum was coming away from the walls. Bathroom door so swollen from moisture it was bowed and didn’t close.

Definitely Not affordable Luxury as advertised

Staff were friendly and the hotel had availability when no one else did in Waterford when we were visiting.

We were greeted with a strong smell of smoke when entering. Yet the staff member who hreeted us helped to reduce that annoyance, as they were very welcoming. The rooms themselves smelt of mould, with mould on the ceiling and curtain. The carpet was heavily stained and had chewing gum and a piercing stud under one bed. Hair in the bath. But you could see the cleaner had tried, as bed was really clean and looked inviting and bathroom cleaned as best they could. Not worth the 125 per room per night, not worth more than 85.00 in my view, a step up from a hostel, and I am not attempting to be rude, just honest.

The kids beds were a disgrace, most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever experienced. Not fair to expect kids to sleep on hard, lumpy beds. We were so disappointed. You wouldn’t expect an adult to sleep on this, why expect kids to.

Grim, would avoid

The person who checked us in was lovely.

It was grim. We knew it would be basic but it was awful, the floor was peeling off in our bathroom, our room smelled of stale smoke, the corridors smelled bad. While the bedding was fresh, the whole place just felt old and dirty and we wanted to be there as little as possible. We booked in a last minute bind, and checked out as soon as we woke up at 7.30am because it’s not somewhere you’d spend more time than you need to. It’s also very overpriced for the standard of everything.

The manager ruined my entire stay

A terrible place, it costs like a five-star hotel, but in reality it is an ordinary roadside brothel. There is mold everywhere in the bathroom, and the extractor fan has probably never been cleaned, I had to clean it myself because the humming was unbearable. All things are shabby and look shameful. And the worst thing in this hotel is the manager. The employees are friendly, but you can feel that they hate him. He makes up rules that are not even on the official website and treats customers like homeless people. I paid 1500€ for 13 nights, and at the end he told me that I did not respect his hotel.
