Hi - we loved the castle exteriors and the lovely grounds make for great exploring. However this glorious castle estate is I need of a major renovation and some updated TLC! The room was not worth 280 euros! We found extensive mold in the shower and various carpet stains in multiple areas and awful threadbare bedding and a tea kettle that leaked hot water all over credenza when activated and burned my hand as it leaked. I am a tv producer who produces travel shows and feel as if I was ripped off. Breakfast was delicious — fresh with plenty of local items and great service by a very personable team. But again, if you are expecting 4star let alone 5star anything in Waterford this estate is likely not what you want.
