We booked because of the good restaurant review only to find it wasn’t open Room was comfortable and clean

At the time - road was blocked and took quite a while to get to the property (not the fault of the hotel) Restaurant was closed. Not a great deal within walking distance. Couldn’t get a drink during the evening (water/pop) etc

Okay Hotel, Terrible restaurant

This was our third stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is modern with a good shower. Beds are fairly comfortable. Breakfast is an extra 10 Euro and includes ham, cheese, yogurt, breads, cereal, fruit, coffee/cappuccino, juice, and water.

We chose this hotel for the convenience of the restaurant attached to the hotel. Even though we did not have good experiences at the restaurant on our ṭwo previous visits, we thought it could have been due to post-Covid readjusting. However, this time it was worse than ever. They offered us complimentary coffee to make up for the fact that the food could not be eaten, but charged us 80 Euro for dinner. We will not return to this hotel, even though the restaurant does not belong to the hotel. We want a hotel that has a restaurant with at least edible food. There are very few options for dining in the immediate area of the hotel.

Ideal stay on our trip from Belgium to Switzerland

We booked this hotel halfway for a one night stay, because of the free parking and restaurant. Restaurant was surprisingly good (it has a different owner than the hotel but this is not an issue). Rooms were nice & bathroom very clean. Breakfast was fresh, not a huge variety but more than enough.

No staff when checking in but that was ok. Although the food was good, we had to wait a long time at the restaurant; however as mentioned they are different owners, but that doesn't matter for a guest when you book a hotel + restaurant. Some confusion about the bill of the hotel when checking out, make sure the owner respects the cost as mentioned at booking.com.

The hotel suited us very well for our short stay en route to the UK

Arrangement for ordering food from the restaurant and eating in our room. Breakfast was very nice. Location was very convenient for us as we were returning to the UK and needed somewhere close to the motorway. Shower and bathroom also very clean and large enough for us.

They could have provided a larger table and a couple of chairs for us to eat our evening meal on. Given the Covid restrictions we ate our evening meal in our room but found the small table a little inconvenient.

La chambre que nous avions était un peu étroite, la double porte à l'entrée de la chambre quelque peu ennuyante pour passer avec les bagages.

Kostengünstige Unterkunft mit tollem Frühstück, eher geeignet für kurze Aufenthalte

Das Frühstück hat alles geboten, was mein Herz begehrte: mehrere Sorten frisches gutes Brot, Butter (auch gesalzene), Croissants, zwei frische Kuchen, köstliche Marmeladen, Käse, Frischkäse, Schinken, verschiedene Sorten Yoghurt, sehr viele verschiedene Tees, hervorragendes Kaffee-Angebot bester Sorte (Espresso, Macchiato, Capucchino usw), Mineralwasser, O-Saft, frische Milch ... und nicht zu vergessen diverse Müslis und viele verschiedene Nuss-Sorten - und das alles zu einem sehr guten Preis. Wie überhaupt die Unterkunft eine sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat. Beim Hotel, aber unter getrenntem Management, gibt es ein ausgezeichnetes, auch nicht überteuertes Restaurant u.a. mit elsässischen Feinheiten. Dort wie m Hotel wurden wir nicht nur herzlich willkommen geheißen, sondern während des gesamten Aufenthaltes ebenso zuvorkommend wie professionell bedient.

Das Hotel liegt am Rande von Bischwiller, relativ weit weg vom Zentrum. Aber in diesem Zentrum und auf dem Weg dahin ist rein gar nichts geboten. Andererseits liegt das Hotel an zwei gut frequentierten Landstraßen mit dem entsprechenden Lärmpegel. Das positive an dieser "Anbindung" ist der kurze Weg in das deutlich größere und lebendigere Haguenau (8km).

Pour ma part tout était parfait Il manquerait juste une climatisation pour les périodes caniculaires mais il y avait un excellent ventilateur qui rafraîchit parfaitement

Die Lage war nicht optimal, etwas außerhalb der Stadt. Da das Restaurant zu war, musste man zum Essen in die Stadt fahren. Wer etwas trinken will, muss laufen, etwa eine halbe Stunde. Frühstück war gut.
