A welcome haven

After a very long drive from the Eurotunnel en route to Germany the location of the hotel was easy to find and hassle free reception. The staff were most obliging and kind. The couple who run the hotel were very hard working and keen to make the guest's stay as enjoyable as possible. This was an ideal stay, economical and quiet.

For a mid journey stop, it served its purpose. Nothing fancy expected and nothing fantastic provided, which is exactly what I wanted. It was quite a walk to get to anything else like restaurants, but I chose it because it was outside the town. The breakfast was lovely, thanks.

The rooms has air conditioning and black out blinds. The food at the restaurants was good and breakfast was great.

There wasn't an immediate supply of hot water. You had to click a button and wait over 30 minutes to get a hot shower.

Location suited our travelling requirements

Reception - poor. Receptionist didn't speak - just took the money and gave us a receipt. The restaurant was not open either - no reason given for this. She just asked if we required breakfast upon which we declined due to us having to leave early the next morning.

Communication regarding restaurant not being open. Reception is your first port of call and one would expect a better friendly approach upon arrival.

Room smelly of paint which I am allergic too. Just a one off I should think but morons smoking on the balcony sent me their poison while I was in my room Dear Smokers while I appreciate the fact you are committing suicide by nicotine it takes too long and you seriously irritate the non addicted. Think about it,,😄

The girl at reception was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fair price. The covid measures were being complied with very well while not being too inconvenient.

Unfortunately I was not careful in selecting the type of accommodation. We were travelling long distance and wanted an overnight stay. I would have liked a open public /lounge area . Arriving late an tired the only option was to sit on one chair in our room. This is ideal for a activity based stay with many amenities in the immediate area. The photo gives a much warmer impression than the reality. We did arrive during cooler bad weather in August 13 degrees however the property was aware we were arriving late and could have put on the heat.

Invasion de coccinelles dans la chambre. Thermostat qui grésille comme si un court circuit est présent. Signale à l'hôtel la réponse à ete: oui on est au courant. Eau froide le matin dans la douche Et pour 300 euros la nuit pour un hôtel équivalent à une formule 1... cest l'arnaque.

Le prix. Habitué aux hôtel car souvent en déplacement... comme celui la: cest 99 euros max

Joli hôtel.

Grande salle de bain, douche à l'italienne, Bonne literie, bonne emplacement sortie de la voie rapide, grand parking, très bon petit déjeuner.

Il faudrait deux ou trois étagères dans la chambre pour posé les vêtements. La douche à l'italienne est ouvert le petit problème c'est l'eau sur le sol, il y en à devant le lavabo et le wc.

Hervorragende Preis-Leistung für die Umgebung

Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war entsprechend dem 2*, aber frisch und lecker! Croissants und Brötchen knusprig und warm. Sehr nette 'deutschsprachige' Dame. Für uns wurde alles gemacht. Wir waren große Wandergruppe. Auf unser Wunsch wurde Frühstück auf 7 Uhr verschoben! Vielen Dank! Und Lage sehr gut: alle Ziele in der Umgebung schnell zu erreichen. Zimmer sind sauber, warm, wenn auch klein! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nicht alle sprechen da Deutsch, aber man kommt ja irgend-wie schon klar :-)

Un cauchemar pour 2 personnes sur 3. Des nuits difficiles avec tout le bruit extérieur. Un vrai loupé chez Booking

Le petit déjeuner, varié et copieux.

J’ai réservé il y a de cela plusieurs mois, 3 chambres, en même temps, au même prix, pour 3 personnes différentes. Seule l’une des chambres correspondait au descriptif de Booking: grand lit, salle de bain avec baignoire, penderie et petit placard. La seule chose qui manquait c’était la bouilloire, plateau de courtoisie. Les 2 autres étaient des chambres pour personnes à mobilité réduite et pour un séjour de 4 nuits: aucun placard, ni penderie pour ranger ses affaires, pas de table de chevet, une douche seulement, pas de baignoire comme annoncé, très bruyant à 6h du matin: les 2 camions pour la lingerie et la nourriture, pas de bouilloire non plus ni plateau de courtoisie. On s’est moqué de nous!!!
