Great stopover, will use again.

Our requirement was for simple, but pet friendly overnight accomodation during a joiurney from UK to Austria with our dog. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly.

A welcome haven

After a very long drive from the Eurotunnel en route to Germany the location of the hotel was easy to find and hassle free reception. The staff were most obliging and kind. The couple who run the hotel were very hard working and keen to make the guest's stay as enjoyable as possible. This was an ideal stay, economical and quiet.

For a mid journey stop, it served its purpose. Nothing fancy expected and nothing fantastic provided, which is exactly what I wanted. It was quite a walk to get to anything else like restaurants, but I chose it because it was outside the town. The breakfast was lovely, thanks.

The rooms has air conditioning and black out blinds. The food at the restaurants was good and breakfast was great.

There wasn't an immediate supply of hot water. You had to click a button and wait over 30 minutes to get a hot shower.

Location suited our travelling requirements

Reception - poor. Receptionist didn't speak - just took the money and gave us a receipt. The restaurant was not open either - no reason given for this. She just asked if we required breakfast upon which we declined due to us having to leave early the next morning.

Communication regarding restaurant not being open. Reception is your first port of call and one would expect a better friendly approach upon arrival.

Room smelly of paint which I am allergic too. Just a one off I should think but morons smoking on the balcony sent me their poison while I was in my room Dear Smokers while I appreciate the fact you are committing suicide by nicotine it takes too long and you seriously irritate the non addicted. Think about it,,😄

The girl at reception was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fair price. The covid measures were being complied with very well while not being too inconvenient.

Unfortunately I was not careful in selecting the type of accommodation. We were travelling long distance and wanted an overnight stay. I would have liked a open public /lounge area . Arriving late an tired the only option was to sit on one chair in our room. This is ideal for a activity based stay with many amenities in the immediate area. The photo gives a much warmer impression than the reality. We did arrive during cooler bad weather in August 13 degrees however the property was aware we were arriving late and could have put on the heat.

La propreté , l’emplacement, la gentillesse du personnel

Le volet roulant qu’on ne peut pas descendre entièrement, un occultant est présent dans la chambre pour dépanner ceci dit. Et l’emplacement, top pour la logistique perso, mais du coup proche de la route et en fonction de votre chambre vous pouvez entendre le trafic routier.
