Gorgeous location and we got a room with a great view. Very good and healthy breakfast with a wide selection. Well trained and super friendly staff.

The photos of the indoor pool are from a guest and do not reflect the facilities of the property. This was no problem for us.

The parking garage is extremely tight and can only accommodate small cars. But, we were warned of that before our arrival and our VW Golf fit well.

I had a good time

Breakfast was great. Staff was very responsive The room was small but there was a bonus room with bunkbeds which provided ample storage

Although the hotel was a no smoking facility, the room reeked of stale smoke. I mentioned it to staff. The underground garage is a robot and bit tight. If several people arrive at once, there will be a delay.

Disappointing

nice location

I am writing to express my concern about the language proficiency of the hotel staff during my recent stay at Strandhotel Binz. I encountered significant difficulties due to the lack of English-speaking staff members, especially at the front desk. The inability to communicate effectively with the hotel staff hindered my overall experience and caused unnecessary inconvenience. Upon check-in, I had difficulty conveying my room preferences and confirming the reservation details due to the limited English proficiency of the front desk staff. On a couple of occasions, I asked the reception for assistance with local directions and recommendations. They didn’t recommend much and unfortunately, the language barrier made it extremely challenging to convey my requirements and understand their suggestions. During breakfast at the hotel restaurant, I struggled to communicate my dietary restrictions to the waitstaff. Effective communication is a vital aspect of the hospitality industry, and it can significantly impact a guest's overall satisfaction with their stay. The hotel should inform its customers about the language problem before booking.

Exceptional

Fantastic location on the promenade just 50 metres from the beach, and it was worth paying more for a room with the sea view. Breakfasts were superb, and the restaurant served delicious fish dishes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed there for a week and were genuinely sorry to leave.

There could be a fridge in the room. Other than that, everyting was perfect.

Black mould in shower: bit rank. Very misleading room facilities and a shower room which overflooded into our bedroom.

... the shaggy carpet in bedroom was a real turnoff, it should be replaced with wooden flooring, much more hygienic in this day and age especially as the hotel is by the sea - sand, wet etc.

The room and toilet/bath was too small and the smell from the restaurant was really bad.

Breakfast ok.

The room. It was ridiculously small, especially the toilet/shower. But the worst was the room's placing just above and next to the restaurant and the bad odour from primarily the fish. We asked for another room but the desk reception clerk was dismissive and not helpful, and we were willing to pay more for a better room. All of this explains the miserable review.

Perfect place to stay in Binz!

We absolutely loved our stay at Strandhotel Binz! The property is located right at the beach and just a few metres away from shops and restaurants. The staff was super friendly as well. We had a clean and modern room with sea view, enjoyed a good breakfast buffet (and excellent coffee!), and had an overall great stay. We will definitely come back!

Winterzeit,günstig im Anggebot,sehr ruhiges Frühstück da wohl die Belegung nicht so hoch war.

Top Lage am Wasser.Frühstück war gut. Die Brötchen könnten kleiner sein und mehrere Sorten wäre ok.

Kleiner Kühlschrank, ein Wasserkocher bißchen Tee und Kaffee zum selber zubereiten fehlten uns sehr.

Es war ein sehr entspannter Aufenthalt

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, es ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der SPA-Bereich war auch sehr schön. Das Hotel liegt ideal an der Promenade und das hauseigene Restaurant ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Das Parkhaus ist zu eng und für größere Autos sehr schwer zu händeln. Im Zimmer ist die dunkle Schrankkombination ungünstig im Verhältnis zum Licht, man kann seine Sachen im seitlichen Regalschrank kaum sehen.
