The historical context

I have booked asking for a double bed and prepared upfront. Only on the arrival I was given a twin room, but nothing was notified to me through messages. After complaining they tried to allocate me in a different room but located on a different building from the reception. The room doesn’t get cleaned unless requested, which I didn’t know about it, as generally you have this service every day on other hotel. Room doesn’t come with things such small fridge or kettle, which are generally very common. I’m

amazing breakfest - fresh crunch bread, and high quality sausages, fruit juices, salmon - plenty of options. staff very friendly, even in the middle of night when we have checked-in, they had a lot of patience to explain route to our room step-by-step (this is a few buildings hotel complex). There is also a very, very spacious sauna. There is also a restaurant next to the hotel - I highly recommend the dessert cakes that they offer there - they are just perfect.

Showers at the sauna floor have really small water pressure to cool down effeciently. I wish there would be a better cooling options, like a bucket with a cold water at the balcony outside or showers with a higher cold water pressure.

Comfortable beds, unfriendly staff and not very clean.

The surrounding areas were nice and close to restaurants and a supermarket

The staff were very unfriendly. They didn’t clean the room and didn’t replace bed linen and towels everyday. The housekeeper walked into the bathroom and replaced the towels while I was taking in the bathroom and stepped into the shower with her dirty shoes. Unacceptable behaviour. Since when does a housekeeper come into your room while you are busy in it??? Is this normal for this hotel. Also replacing towels and emptying the bin does not constitute cleaning a room. They really need to up their cleaning game. The carpets were filthy.

Out of 5 staff members I would say 4 were very friendly and professional.

I was welcomed by a very friendly staff member by the name of David.

The last person that helped me after check out and leaving my luggage to get back later was rather unfriendly (not service oriented). I will leave it at that.

Met my expectations. Looking forward to staying again next year.

My kids especially liked exploring in- and outside the hotel; running in the long hallways and enjoying the Nutella dispenser at breakfast.

I would have appreciated being able to look the beds together or somehow preventing them from sliding apart. I had to push them together so that my kids and I could sleep, but the beds would often slide apart during the night. Breakfast was a little pricey.

Comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Spectacular building. Very good area. Amazing Irish Pub just next door. Free on site parking. I would stay here again.

Door locks don't work properly. Sometimes it needs 4-5 attempts to make it open. I saw guests from nearby rooms had the same problem.

Friendly staff, clean, calm neighbourhood.

Towels were really worn off and could use a change. There was no coffee machine as mentioned, coffe in the lobby was mostly cold. No kettle or mini fridge in the room. Two rwin bends should not be called queen bed.
