A lovely small hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

The staff, apparently a husband and wife team, were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was a good size, with a view over the back garden and was newly-decorated. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great! The breakfast was very good and good value. There is limited secure parking, but if that is not available there is plenty of parking on the road outside.

Access to most of the rooms is via stairs and that could be an issue for guests with limited mobility. This is not unusual in small hotels, and the management was so helpful I suspect that they would have found a way of assisting any guest who had a problem with the stairs. One thing that was unusual was the lack of tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. Many guests enjoy a cup of tea or coffee when they wake and before going down for breakfast.

Lovely room - with direct access to garden (pity it was raining)! After a long day it was great to be able to have our evening meal in the hotel - which was lovely. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. There was a good and plentiful selection for breakfast. Was able to park within the secure area which was a bonus.

Great stay despite the initial shock of the location

Despite the location directly on the road we had a great and very worthwhile stay. The reception by Madame was very friendly. She served a good dinner for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was excellent!! The quality of the stay was much better than the front door made us think when we entered the hotel

Good place to stay. Close to sncf train station

Really like this place. It is quiet because all bedrooms have windows on the courtyard side. + the hotel has been refurbished in an old mansion templier type house so you’ll find the mix of new in the history that builds the Beaugency type. Buffet breakfast is good value for type. Mattresses are really confortable.

Good stop on the way to our final destination

We particularly liked the room itself and breakfast

We arrived during ‘closing’ hours while it was more than 35 degrees outside. When we asked whether we could just sit somewhere in the shade, the answer was no. This was far from ideal as we were also travelling with our 3 year old daughter. We would have appreciated an exception to the rule given the weather

Clean, quiet, friendly place to stay.

Super friendly, family-run business. The owners gave us a warm welcome on our arrival. The hotel is roughly a minute's walk from the main square in Beaugency. Our room was quiet and clean. We didn't eat at the hotel but they did offer an evening meal and breakfast. There is limited parking at the hotel so if you want a parking spot, you need to book it in advance. We only booked the hotel the day before we arrived so we weren't able to have a parking space but we parked directly opposite the hotel for free. Beaugency is a really beautiful little town and I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit there.

Good

Breakfast is good, and you can park the car within the building which makes it safe and convenient (especially when traveling with children). Some rooms have accès to the garden, which is the nicest space in the place.

They put a plastic cover in the bed, below the bed sheets, which is horrible to sleep on. We woke up several times during the night sweating. I understand they do it to keep the mattresses clean for longer, but it is very unpleasant for clients. I would recommend the owner to reconsider this.

The room was recently decorated and modern and fresh. The bathroom and particularly the shower were efficient and of a high standard. The staff were accommodating and friendly, the food was delicious.

My son is a bit fussy about food and I would possibly have liked to see something more catered for children on the menu.

The interior garden makes this a relaxing place to stay.

Well-appointed bedrooms looking in on the pleasant inner garden are totally quiet. The hotel is very central, within easy walking distance of the town centre and the riverside. Secure parking space in the locked interior courtyard is free and convenient but must be requested in advance of arrival. Buffet breakfast, helpful staff.

Hotel doors are closed if you arrive earlier than the advertised afternoon check-in time. The main road in front of the hotel can be busy during the day.

Very good

Had a room overlooking the garden. There was storage for our bicycles. Clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was okay. Lots of restaurants in the village were closed because it was a Sunday evening, but we found La Crep'zeria. It was full of locals and served delicious pizza and lasagne. Excellent wine too and very reasonably priced.
