It was quiet

The food wasn’t nice waited over an hour for food,room was dirty and receptionist wasn’t helpful and charged me for £12 for parking and told me I would get a refund but haven’t received payment.

Perfect

Good location off m way . Spa accessible and friendly with good facilitates . Lovely well maintained steam room showers and sauna and relaxation room with good postive flow . Restaurant meal which we booked on the day and were accommodated was excellent . Some very nice complementary touches from the staff which made me think I will come back.

All good, staff were amazing. Combination of lovely well thought out decor had a really friendly feel about the place . Guests made to feel it was a home from home . Breakfast specials you could order was a nice touch

Great venue and staff just disappointed in extra charges for use of Spa £30 and overnight parking charge of £12. Would have stayed at a different venue where all facilities included in booking.com price.

Worth a stay, especially if away for work.

Room was comfortable, if ever so slightly dated. Breakfast was great, wide selection and good quality. Overall hotel was smart and spa looked great, although i didn't go.

Breakfast didn't open until 0800hrs.

Very nice place, decorated well for Xmas

We paid £30 for 2 people to use the spa, to sit on a chair at the side of the pool. Far too busy so couldn’t enjoy it. This should have been included in the cost of the stay because it was far too much to pay for what was available.

Spa was lovely staff very helpful and friendly on reception in the spa and restaurant

Kept up for 4 hours in the night due to a race taking place in a room 3 doors down and then someone almost kicking a door down to get someone’s attention in the middle of the night.

Booked for the spa but was too too busy and also treatments where all booked up.

The services weren’t that good and also. The tv in the room you couldn’t even get channels on the coffee machine in the room didn’t even work

Location was good. Check in was quick. Nice and clean everywhere. Most importantly the customer service from the ladies at check in was one of the best I’ve encountered.

Heater in room wasn’t fully working. Luckily room temp was decent and not cold. Otherwise it’d have been 10/10

Pleasant and refreshing

Well maintained decor, good location and good sized rooms. Food was good quality and service was excellent.

The person who checked us in wasn’t the most welcoming however no other issues after that. There was food on the corridor floors and in the lift one morning. For the price, not sure why the spa was additional costs.

Enjoyable in the main but wouldn’t entertain having a meal during the colder months of the year.

Location and ease of access also very quiet

The ambiance in the dining room was not inviting in the evening, it was also cold which was embarrassing for us and our guests. We did complain but it had no effect. I also didn’t like the addition of a parking charge for each day of our stay. When we checked in the room wasn’t set up as asked, however this was rectified by an upgrade.

Disturbed by unnecessary noise

The hotel is lovely and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. The staff are always very good.

The live music in the bar/ courtyard on Saturday night. We asked twice for the volume to be turned down but it remained blasting out. We had friends visiting us and there was nowhere else to sit unless we went to our room. It was unnecessary and unwelcome noise. Disappointed to have both our requests to turn it down ignored. Half the volume would have been sufficient for background entertainment.

Too Short.

This is my 2nd stay here, first time July '24, and second time Nov '25. Both times from entering and speaking to the girls at the front desk was what you would like to see at a lot of other Hotels. Polite and with a smile greeting you. First class.

Leaving and not being able to spend longer there. I didn't know you were a dog friendly Hotel or i would.liked to have brought my dog, but that was my fault. Next time.

Dining room service very poor on Saturday night. So slow. Had to wait ages at every step - waiting for service, waiting for drink, waiting a long time for a bowl of soup! The food was good when it finally arrived though.

Staff and their professionalism. Service in the restaurant was top-notch. Food was lovely.

Spa area seems too busy. Prices are a lot higher than before. Price for food per portion was extortionate, particularly on the vegetables. New carpark charge introduced and charge to use the spa area. This hotel is slipping from its 4 star for me.

The spa, jacuzzi and quiet zone were excellent. The room was clean and of reasonable size and the chamber maids/room attendants were great - very attentive and helpful.

The food was overpriced and not great. Waiting staff were not very attentive and we received our starters before we even got our drinks. Overall we were dissatisfied with the value for money of the food.

Very good hotel for a work traveler

Very good hotel that I will be happy to stay at again when in the area. The room was comfortable and clean, the common areas in the hotel overall very good.

The dinner at the restaurant was underwhelming, with very slow service. Breakfast was worse, and next time I will probably book a room without breakfast as it didn't add value and it's just a cost.

Disappointing experience for such a beautiful hotel. Won’t be going there again!

Beautiful room with comfortable bed.

Staff weren’t helpful at all Came down for breakfast that had been already paid by my partner however made me pay again showed proof of the transaction. What I paid was less than what my partner paid which is sus. Was given a dirty tray for breakfast and to top it off found a blue long string in my food which was unpleasant. I did make staff aware however was asked what I want them to do and denied that it was them. Like to say I would put that in my own food. Shouldn’t have pulled it out and left them to see it. I go to a lot of hotels this has to be grouped with my least favourite. Hopefully your stay will be better than mine:)
