Not 5 stars. Not worth half the price we paid via booking.com.

Small pool was good. Staff in the dining area was good, attentive. Large bed in room. Private beach with areas to sit. Some local fruits good at diner / lunch.

We staid for 1 week. Sorry this is not 5 stars, maybe a 2.5 t o3. Bathroom air flow ventilator broken. Bathtub with a yellowish color and discolorations spots. Stupid bathroom door design with glas so you child can see you on the toilet. Rude staff at bars, the tall lay at the lobby bar made a inappropriate comment in the first night of us arriving just for asking to bring us a juice from the bar for a child. This at a all inclusive. Food was more cantina style rehatted, got bored after 2 days . Same meat mix and taste for all burgers/meatballs/etc Beverages / local alcohol sucked, all wines tasted the same, red wine testes like white wine and vice versa. Only good to drink Pepsi and coffee. People booking via agency got it for 500-600 euros compared to what we paid on booking.com, refund ? Closer to the real value of this place.

The only redeeming qualities of this property are its location and the pool areas. Direct beach access is also a plus.

We booked this hotel for one night as it was convenient on our way to Thessaloniki. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst five-star experiences I’ve ever had. As soon as we checked in we wanted to sleep given the long hours drive of the day. I discovered stains on the sheets, absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that advertises itself as five-star. On top of that, children were running and shouting in the hallways, while adults without room cards were banging on doors and yelling. The soundproofing is practically nonexistent. When I complained immediately at reception, I was told that only changing linen was possible but changing rooms wasn’t because the hotel was “fully booked.”I checked online and rooms were still available. I decided to shower and noticed stains on the bathrobes that could not be removed by washing. The room looked extremely outdated, with worn-out furniture, faded paint, and lamps hanging loose. The refrigerator was making loud noises on and off throughout the night, making it almost impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, in the middle of the night, our room phone rang with kids laughing on the other end. We had to unplug the telephone cable just to get some hours sleep. On the day of checkout, a lady from guest relations kindly asked about our experience and acknowledged the issues we faced. She offered a 25% discount as compensation, but given the extent of the problems, this felt far from adequate. In the end, it was a deeply disappointing stay.

Beachfront resort

The resort’s beachfront location is idyllic, the grounds impeccably maintained, and the mix of pools is a plus. Our stay was wonderful. The hotel was very nice and well-maintained. Manager Tomas was incredibly kind and accommodating.

Pleasant stay and good time in Dion Palace

The place was quite and with everything needed to feel relaxed and like on vacation. Polite staff and food was delicious and fresh. Spa and indoor pool only with tax in addition.

Only bad thing was the beds on the beach which are not enough for all guests of the hotel

5 stars hotel-bad experience

Not a 5 star hotel. The SPA was not working and we were not informed. The person from the reception was confused by my question and ask for the front office manager to come and explain why the SPA center is closed. For that price it’s just crazy that there isn’t a working spa center. The hotel is very old and needs renovation. There were a plenty of children and it was very noisy especially during the nights. The manager tried to compensate us with an apartment but I would say this was just a good try.

It is OK

The hotel has a nice big domain , with 3 pools, big garden and private beach. It was not crowded and we always had free sunbeds ( both to the pool and to the beach). The food was very good , varied and fresh.

The hotel room was rather small for 2 adults and a teenager. The 3 rd bed was very small and defective and I had to asked them twice to replace it. The balcony is small . The room was not properly cleaned and the towels are very old and yellow because of intense usage. The air conditioned was not Ok ( more like a ventilator ) Insuficient parking spaces..

Bungalow sea Front was so cool, to wake up by the sunrise was beautiful and relaxing. The Guest Relation manager Maria was really helpful.

Some highlights but overall pretty grubby and disappointing 😞

Amazing location, beautiful pools, glorious beach. Maria on Guest Services is just wonderful, as is the porter (who's name I didn't get). Breakfast was lovely, although they struggled to keep up with demand. Sunset over Mt Olympus was glorious! Waiting staff generally brilliant. The beach is lovely but people get there super early and leave their towels there all day (empty) so it's hard to get a sunbed. Beach bar looks amazing, we didn't get there as there was a storm. Worth noting - despite the below I didn't get a single apology.

First room, air con didn't work (it happens and I'm not a complainer). I went to reception armed with the remote in case it was me, as our room was getting hotter and hotter, and the lovely porter cane up and confirmed it was the AC. It was piping out hot air! The room must have been close to 40°. Went to reception where Basil Fawlty told me "Greece is hot" and laughed in my face. Another guy came out and said there was one room free, the AC worked (lovely porter had checked) but the room was hot as it had been empty eithout AC. I looked at the room and it looked fine albeit dated. Packed, trekked to room with lovely porter insisting on carrying our things: AC is actually a main system vend and basically a fan. No temp control. Shower was a hand held extension, the tal half ran while you showered and you need to either hold the shower in your gabd or the water flies straight out of the bath horizontally. Walls crumbling. Enamel on bath coming off. And did I mention no AC? With temperatures rising, at 10pm while trying to go to sleep, I called reception to say still no AC, and asked at least for a fan. They said they'd call back. 10 minutes later, a bang at the door- twice - and an angry maid marched in and slammed a fan on the floor before glaring at us and marching out again.the fan was glorious, but it wasn't AC! No water in your rooms- if you're with booking.com. your choices are 80c from the little shop (great) but if it's shut or you can't get to it, €2.50 from the bar where you have the pleasure of veing served hy the rudest bar maid i have ever encountered. I'm not sure if it's English people specifically that she hates or all holidaymakers, but this early in the season it's not OK. I ordered a hot chocolate for my daughter and the woman started serving a bunch of Greek kids before me, so we went back to our rooms... €9 yep, €9 for a limoncello!!!

The well structured facilities, the half-board menu variety, the room cleanliness, the innovation of the complex happening on a daily basis, and the mesmerising view of the mountain peaks from any location, including our terrace. The place is perfect for a couple visiting with a toddler, looking for a well worth summer holding. We'll be visiting again next year :)

-Stained and unclean loungers -orange juice machine squirted out bugs -Stained white stickers on restaurant door -exterior of spa run down and grim -View opposite spa of overgrown area and dumping ground -breakfast finished an hour earlier than advertised -piping and filler exposed badly over door to suite -Grime on walls of pool -unclean drip marks and chipped paint everywhere - tbh the whole exterior of the hotel looked more like something from prison break series 3 rather than a luxury 5 star resort.

- Air conditioning didn't cool, just blew room temperature air. - No power sockets near the bed, like it's 1989. - Staff didn't offer to carry luggage, I usually carry them myself, but I always appreciate the offer. - Check in took a while. - Room was a good 200m walk from the parking lot. - Room didn't have the requested double bed, but 2 single beds. - Shower head in the bath tub forced you to stand in a narrow corner. - Roof was leaking in the hallway.

Good hotel for a few nights

Spacious room and comfortable bed. Very nice balcony. Good wifi signal inside the bedroom or on the balcony. Very helpful and friendly staff in the reception. Good variety in both breakfast and dinner buffets. The food was indeed delicious.

Very noisy a/c unit and the air provided was not cool enough. Something is wrong with its performance in general. Thus, I could not lower the fan speed, since then the room would get warm. I woke up one morning the bathroom floor was flooded for no reason that I know of. Thankfully, the reception staff took care of it within a few hours.

The high accommodation price reflects 5 stars, but the reality is nowhere near that.

Maximum 3-4 star hotel. The room was not clean, there was sand on the floor. The towels should have been changed by now. Due to the many washes, it simply fell apart during use. The air conditioner did not cool, but smelled musty. The situation may have been similar in the room next door, because the person who lived there took the bed out onto the terrace. We asked for another room. The air conditioner didn't cool there either, but it wasn't smelly. The shower window opened onto the neighbor's terrace. It was unpleasant. The beach is sandy only under the sunbeds. You have to enter the water through stones. The use of water shoes is strongly recommended. The water deepens quickly. A deposit of €10 must be paid for a piece of beach towel. They emphasized that they only change it three times in a week, and you have to pay for the rest. The hotel supports guests with pets. Maybe we were in a bad time, but there were dogs everywhere. Not to mention that the beach is not closed and large stray dogs have appeared several times. A small soft drink costs €5, which I think is expensive compared to the standard of the hotel. The parking capacity is also limited. There are no options in the area in the evenings. Katerini and Platamon are also 25 minutes away by car.
