Decumani Hotel De Charme

The historic charm and the cleanliness. We also enjoyed the excellent cocktails served in the evening by the talented mixologist. Central location but quiet.

I felt the rooms were basic and lacked a bit of luxury that you would expect of a hotel charging above average prices. The male desk staff were grumpy and gave the impression that they didn’t want to be there.

breakfast, location, staff were all top notch! I really appreciated the breakfast box they gave me when I checked out (earlier than the breakfast was being served). The building was beautiful. All around fantastic experience. Great location to just wander around and explore the historic center. Staff were incredibly kind and efficient. Taxi's came in less than 2 minutes. If I ever go back to Naples I would stay there again! Air conditioning worked VERY well--thank goodness!

Wifi was spotty and had some issues. However, they actively tried to fix it. I didn't expect it to work well though. It did work well enough to watch some Youtube videos and check my email at least part of the time--so that was great!

Amazing property with historical relevance from what I was told. The art/decor was quite interesting.

Had some difficulty fitting in to the tiny shower.🤣

- Great location in the city center - Friendly and helpful staff - Some people mention in their reviews that the street is sketchy and full of graffitis, that is true but it feels safe enough for a solo woman traveller

- Poor housekeeping - there was black mold in the bathroom, even on the wall, an issue for me being allergic to mold - missing fixtures in the bedroom - not what I expect from a 4star property - we were two adults and one 4 year old child - which was disclosed by us at booking - in what world they think that these railings with huge gaps are suitable for a family with a young child (the fact that the room would be split level was not apparent upon booking)
