It was okay, no Parking outside, very small kitchen and property, no outside space either if you smoke
Close to pubs and shops
Door height into kitchen is dangerous, banged head a few times, also back bedroom is on a slope so you feel like you rolling out of bed

Quaint little cottage
Lovely quaint little cottage. Great location. Clean on arrival. Plenty of mugs and glasses. Good size for 2 couples.
The beds need reviewing. No mirrors in the bedrooms. 1 tall mirror to share. Bathroom clean but unable to use the bath as the tap on the mixer taps had been removed. Stairs steep. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. Fly's a real problem. Would suggest placing some insect repellent around the property. We had to go out and buy fly spray. Back garden needs a little TLC.

Central location
Central location. The bathroom was lovely. Tidy when arrived at the property. Parking at the back of the property. (Pay and display)
One of the beds you could feel the springs in the mattress. The oven was not clean. The single chair was very low. ( needs replacing, in my opinion)

Ok, be great with some needed improvements
Good location easy access into town, carpark at rear can load, off load outside front door, size fine for 3 people
Mattress in second bedroom not fit for purpose, very uncomfortable can feel springs, worn out and should be replaced before any further bookings, this has been mentioned in other reviews, it’s not acceptable to offer holiday accommodation with a known issue that is easily fixed. There are no bedside tables or lamps in bedrooms, space is tight but small side tables could easily be provided. The TV is too small for the space and far to high up on the wall and is fixed so can’t adjust angle, you get neck ache watching it! This has also been mentioned in other reviews. Glasses in kitchen had to be washed before use as dirty, lots of smear marks! The arm chair covered by an ill fitting throw is very dirty and needs to be cleaned. Everything else was clean. Overall served its purpose for visiting family. If the issues mentioned above were fixed it would be an 8 or 9 score, easy to resolve so do it!

Clean but disappointed with uncomfortable bed.
Location was good and it was clean
Low door thresholds, very steep stairs and one very uncomfortable bed so had a poor nights sleep. The second bedroom was better.

A great stay in a wonderful town.
Wymondham is a charming market town with lots of history and an amazing Abbey. The cottage is on a quiet lane in the historic centre and you can see the Abbey from upstairs. Parking was easy - I used the long stay Central Hall/library car park which was £5 day and with a short cut to the cottage through the alley by the White Hart although there were also free spaces in front of the Abbey. I chose it instead of a hotel as I was attending a family event locally and it was much more convenient. The description of the cottage is accurate. The living room is good sized, the kitchen small but well equipped and the bedroom share small but functional. Once you get used to the stairs they are safe and ok but perhaps not for those with mobility issues.
It was very good and functional. But to make it even better I might resite the TV on a table by a fireplace, add a table in the first bedroom, mirrors in the bedrooms, a matched set of crockery and a teapot. I had forgotten how long washing up by hand takes - so a small dishwasher in the utility room would have added some luxury and comfort.

Loved the cosy cottage and had everything we needed.
Very close to the town
No parking so had to pull up and unload and drop off children. Stairs very steep for children, no stair gate xx
