Lavender Lodge - Pool and Hot Tub with sunset views over open fields

Me and my partner came for relaxation over the weekend. This place was exactly what we needed for relaxation .We had really good time in the pool and hot tub and was very satisfying with services provided .

Really nice, comfortable property in a very quiet village. The pool was larger than it looks in the photos - which was a bonus - and great to cool off with in the heat. Lots of lovely personal touches from the hosts, like fresh flowers and some goodies as well to brighten up your stay. Very comfy bed - I didn't want to get up! The field view and back garden area is so peaceful and calming, especially with those sunsets. I did see deer and plenty of other wildlife as well (binoculars are provided!) Hosts very accommodating when I needed groceries, or something I forgot to pack, delivered. Gary even offered to pick me up from Norwich station as I didn't have the car. Loads of useful pre-visit information given if you want to explore the wider area. Wymondham is just a short bus or car ride away and is definitely worth a visit, and Norwich isn't too far away either if you want a change of pace. I didn't use the hot tub, but it's great to have it there. Really great stay and would highly recommend.

Cannot really fault it!

Self contained entrance, easy parking, compact but had almost everything you could need. Hot Tub in the evening sun was glorious! Nice extra touches of croissants, milk and some strawberries. Back garden had woodbark for our dog which was great.,

was a little concerned about the fence round back garden area which had wire mesh but in places didn't look very strong. Was always worried our dog might see a hare and push through it! I wasn't keen on the wooden steps up to decking, steep without any handrail. TV was difficult to get any terrestrial stations. Some instructions would have helped. But these are minor things. Probably won't be in the area again but if we were we'd definitely stay here again.
