Blissful and cozy haven ✨️

Lavender Lodge was so comfortable and cozy 💜 we felt like we were at home from home. So warm, everything you could possibly need and lovely hosts. Gary sorted out a surprise for my husband's birthday and was always on the end of the phone if we needed anything. Don't think twice about booking this place, it really is a little gem ✨️

Beautiful little break.

Communication with the host was very good. Accommodation was very clean and smelt beautiful. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need, absolutely nothing not though of. Fresh milk in the fridge and croissants, jam and butter for a breakfast. Clean fresh bedding and towels.Accommodation was nice and warm (cold October break) and we could adjust the heating as necessary. Small garden with table and chairs, and hot tub which was set to a lovely temperature. The small garden was secure so our small dog was safe whilst we were in the hot tub. Host quickly answered any questions we had about the accommodation or area. Would return.

Loved it!!

I absolutely loved the set up. Situated on an open field at back of house. I wished I had enough time to use the hot tub! And definitely would have used the pool in the warmer weather. I was left with shortbread, cook your own croissants, fresh milk, butter and jam as well as coffee and tea. Direct access at back to sit outside. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Only downside was the gravelled front, side and slim steps where I struggled a bit with my luggage. Not marked this down as everything else was excellent.

The property was well decorated and had everything you needed ! The owners had even gone out of their way to provide extras such as crossiants etc The hot tub looking onto the fields was really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay so thank you!!

Perfect little retreat would love to stay again

Lovely comfy lodge with everything you need provided Very quiet area ideal to spot wildlife around 10 minutes in car to Wymondham with plenty of pubs shops etc The thoughtfulness of the croissants jam biscuits and milk were a lovely addition and much appreciated. Bed and sofa bed very comfortable good shower and very safe for dogs who like to escape!

Great stay, lodge had everything we needed and more! Bedding was lovely and clean, towels were nice and soft. The hosts had even left milk and croissants with butter and jam for us! Would highly recommend!

Perfect stay, hot tub & pool was amazing - arrived to x2 bottles of water and x2 fruit shoots on arrival and homemade crossiant, butter & jam little touches really made us feel welcomed! We will definitely be back, host helped straight away when the hot tub filter needed changing. Couldn’t of been happier!

Relaxing Birthday treat

Just returned from a two night stay at Lavender Lodge, perfect location with beautiful views. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and sofa bed. The pool and hot tub were a big hit with the children. Fabulous break for my 40th Birthday, will definitely return in the future

Beautiful lodge in a peaceful setting

Easy check in and out check, the hosts were super helpful and not far away if we needed anything. Nice and quiet peaceful location Lovely having a full kitchen to use with utensils Sofa bed and double bed were super comfy Nice the pool and hot tub were ready to use straight away Would definitely return next year! Nothing we didn't like and nothing to complain about. Small niggles for improvement(very small), previous lodgers had a dog as there was some poop in the back garden(we cleaned this no problem ourselves)had just been missed. Being out in the fields there can be alot of flies at times, so maybe a fly curtain on one of the doors would be handy, as we had the doors open alot as it was hot. When sitting in the hot tub,as its quite low the top of fence blocks the view, would suggest some decking to raise the hot tub a bit higher for a perfect unblocked view.

The property Is a cute little destination to go if you want to relax and unwind or have a romantic night away, the croissants was a lovely touch so you can have them for breakfast and fresh milk! Jam and butter. We couldn’t use the bigger pool due to the weather but we used the hot tub was lovely. We went into the city of Norwich for food and used u ride taxi they was brilliant and only £24 each way if this helps! There is a pub just up the road too.

Going past the neighbours house to get to your place.. it’s not that private to be honest but it does work how they have it,

Family break/ very pet friendly

The peace and quiet was just so relaxing. Host Gary was very helpful if you needed anything he was about to ask. Very welcoming with a lovely little note on entry. Everything you need to have a peaceful break from every day life. Will be back again.

A lovely little lodge , quirky with outstanding views…

We were visiting Norwich for a family wedding at Reymerston hall, we couldn’t check in before the wedding due to the lodge being cleaned after the previous guests , we didn’t mind this so long as we could leave our baggage somewhere and take a key with us, Gary was extremely helpful in making sure we had somewhere safe to leave our things , in the end the previous guests left a little early so we were able to check in a little earlier which was a huge help for pre wedding finishing touches . A lovely little lodge .. we sadly didn’t get chance to use the hot tub or mini pool but it all looked lovely and the views were outstanding . We would recommend for a comfy pretty stay

Beautiful sceneries and lovely to use the pool provided, very secluded, and private.

Beautiful scenery and theres everything you need within the lodge. It was lovely to meet the hosts but they also respected our privacy which i think was very important and respectful, cant fault anything and will definitely be returning. Wish we could afford to go on the regular. So tranquil and relaxing, and cant beat the sport, scenery and nature around you! It was even better that we got the amazing weather for it also, even if it wasn't so beautiful weather wise theres netflix, hot tub if not right to use the pool, there are board games and a park across the road. Theres not much I really can fault about our stay! The only thing possibly is the hot tub was very very strong which has left rashes from using it but theres nothing negative at all to say about this place at all.

Wow! A total gem, we had the most relaxing stay 😊

Gorgeous little ‘getaway retreat’ so peaceful and relaxing. Lodge is lovely and very well equipped for your stay, very comfortable and tastefully finished. We were welcomed with fresh flowers & herbs in a vase on the breakfast table. Scrummy choccy biscuits, milk, butter, jam and croissants. A bottle of prosecco chilling in the fridge! Nespresso coffee pods too ( yes we did manage to work the machine!!) Everywhere was clean, fresh and airy. It was very hot during our visit so it was very much appreciated to find a fan in the bedroom. We made good use of both the hot tub and the pool with were bliss and very private. We were lucky enough to see hares and deer with fawns in the meadow and stunning sunsets. Hosts were very discreet and totally lovely and helpful when we needed them. This a total gem - highly recommend and will definitely be returning ❤️😊

Property was in a lovely location, with easy access and its own private entrance. The lodge was well lit, and well equipped. The owners also added a travel cot to the main bedroom for our stay, which made it easy for us to travel without ours.

Lovely quiet location with a park just across the road, with table tennis table and football goals with nets. Room was warm and cosy and the hot tub was an added bonus. Lovely essentials supplied, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bottled water, biscuits and frozen croissants.

Enjoyable stopover - relaxing evening after a very long drive.

Attention to detail. Comfy beds, clean shower/bathroom, welcome pack including milk, breakfast croissants and instructions on how to cook was a brilliant extra. Wrong time for us to use the pool or hot tub but it all looked fab. Sofa bed was very comfortable too.

Beautiful, very well accommodated and will be back!

The location was very private. We had beautiful views of the sunset and field. The apartment exceeded expectation. We don’t need to bring anything but food as it’s fully stocked with glasses, cutlery, crockery, etc. the hot tub was on and ready to go as soon as we got there. There was an amazing little book explaining everything from how to turn the shower on to where to order takeaway and even history of the local windmill. I’ve already booked another two stays!

Perfect romantic getaway!!!

The lodge was amazing. From the moment we pulled up on the drive it felt like home. It was so easy to find and just like a home away from home. The lodge was so clean, had all the essentials, was even accommodating for dogs which was great! The hosts were lovely and ensured us if we needed anything just ask and they would sort it. The view from the hot tub was outstanding, and overall I feel it was the perfect little romantic getaway and I can assure you we shall be returning. Also, the little personal touches were so sweet and thoughtful, the note with the croissants, the pots of jam and butter, a guide for food, pubs, takeaways etc. things couldn’t have been better!

Everything was perfect but if I had to be very very picky, the bedroom was a little cold and I’m a sucker for watching tv in bed!

Lovely homely lodge

Clean and tidy with lovely decor. Super comfy bed and bedding, we both slept really well. Loved the hot tub and homely thoughtful touches left such as croissants left in the fridge and milk,tea and coffee facilities.

From the booking information and photos we assumed location of stay (lodge) would have been more private. We felt a bit uncomfortable walking past owners property windows and garden at the bottom over looking the hot tub with no privacy fencing in-between. Also one field at the back with neighbouring houses potentially viewing. We felt the outdoor area needed some TLC/consideration. Great idea and owners clearly care about the business and the lodge. Maybe a little pricey for us in consideration of the above.

Lovely little gem.

Lavender lodge had everything we needed for our short stay. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds including the sofa bed were comfy. The hot tub was such a great addition to our stay and was secluded over looking the fields. The croissants, biscuits and milk were a lovely touch along with an easter egg left for our son. Very welcoming and friendly hosts, we couldn't have asked for more.

The views were amazing and the croissants were a real bonus. Everything worked well, the place was clean and the lodge very comfortable. My family enjoyed using the hot tub and next time, would love to stay for a little longer and use the pool during the summer months.
