The breakfast was amazing, very varied and locally sourced. The room had a very clever blackout blinds feature which operated very quietly and resulted in total darkness, great for sleep! The owners were very friendly and hospitable throughout our stay. Location of hotel couldn't be any better. Close to everything!
The bed was slightly on the firm side, but that is all.

I cannot believe that the hotel is only rated 2 stars. It deserves more. The staff and service was first class. Rooms were well sized, firm bed, well serviced and very clean. The location is right in the centre.

Perfect location in the centre for shopping and restaurants, parking near by the bed was firm and comfortable and there was tea and coffee available.
Not really a problem for us but the hotel/restaurant is closed on a Wednesday which unfortunately was the day we arrived but there was good instructions for a key safe.

Good location. Free parking close. Excellent breakfast
Steep stairs!

Fab location plus an excellent restaurant - we had a great meal there.
Toilets both in the restaurant and room just need a bit of bleach (or eco equivalent) and proper clean. A simple fix!

The food in the restaurant was fantastic.
Nothing but the steep stairs may not be suitable for everyone.

there is a restaurant on site, there is tea and coffee making facilities in the room
No parking at hotel . needed to find the public car park and it was raining heavily . The owner did give us all the details of the car parks.
Rooms are all up a steep flight of stairs.

The owner responded quickly to every request, even finding out where the nearest rapid charger was. The food was delicious and many home made products. It had a lovely atmosphere. The room was large and very comfortable. The location was great in the town centre but very quiet despite arriving in the middle of a beer festival.
The steepness of the stairs, although we were offered help with the luggage.

This was a very last minute booking due to the accommodation we had booked being double booked. This was the middle of August and there was hardly any rooms left in the area
The room and public areas were clean
The room was at the front of the hotel on a pedestrian street which is full of bars and restaurants. The room was so noisy from load music and people talking from about 4pm until 2am. At around 6am, the bin men come and are very load. The worst night sleep for my husband and I

Typically French restaurant with rooms. Right in the centre of town, easy parking nearby. Fabulous food, prepared with passion by the very cheerful chef. Homemade bread/ pastries, yoghurt, fruit, ham and cheese for breakfast. Evening meal was delicious.
Very good value.

I love this place. It’s proper old school French in the best bit of a great town. Lovely friendly staff and the restaurant is very good too.
If I have to criticise something: the bed linen is a bit old.

Location is right in the heart of the town so great access to things. Nice amenities in the room, just enough for what we needed. Staff were nice.
Location is also a slight dislike as it was very loud on a Saturday night, however they have good shutters and provide earplugs. Only issue is it gets quite hot with everything closed. The fan helped though!

Great location. And comfortable hotel.

This is proper France in a tourist town. Perfect location, oozes character, great staff, superb food.
The fittings are all a bit tired but it’s France! And it’s not expensive. This is Ibis budget: no brainer! When it’s open.

Lovely stay at the hotel, The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice to have USB power points at the side of the bed. A good selection of complimentary drinks in the room and the continental breakfast was very nice.

The location of the Hotel is perfect with a Car Park in very close proximity which is free at weekends and after 6pm on weekdays. The Hotel is in a pedestrian part of the town, but for my family this was not a problem. St Omer is also a great place to visit, and on Saturdays there is a Market in the town square.
If you are travelling late on the euro tunnel and want somewhere to stay before your onward journey which is only 40min from the tunnel then I would really recommend this Hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was excellent- fresh fruit, a yogurt pot, cheese and cooked meats as well as croissants, pain chocolat and bread. The restaurant was good and we also enjoyed a lunch on the day we arrived. The starters were excellent, but the main courses were a bit disappointing with the gambas overcooked and woolly with a rather strange combination of roast root vegetables and scented rice. The vegetables didn't work successfully as a flavour with the shellfish, I am afraid. The location near to the Tourist Office and Cathedral was ideal for exploring the town, and parking was fine in the public parking areas.
The room faced a pedestrian area which ought to have been a good thing but for the nightclub opposite which was described as "a bit lively". The music was loud and even the thoughtful addition of the earplugs couldn't make it quiet. The bedside light switch on the right of the comfortable bed didn't work, so we had to detach the bulb to switch it off. The lighting in the room was generally low level which made the room look rather dingy, which is a pity because it was well decorated. The design of the bathroom meant that getting into the shower was tricky. Only a gap of 15 cm between the toilet and the bath edge was possible unless you moved the shower screen. There was a smell of drains coming out of the bath. So some plumbing would be an advantage!

Breakfast was good. Stairs are a little steep but we coped although wife needed help.
Noisy outside at weekend but hotel supplied ear plugs.

Basic room and very steep stairs. No parking at the hotel, but free parking is 5 minutes walk away.

Initially I liked the central location on a 'convivial' street. The room was OK clean and comfortable enough. The bathroom wasn't up too much but this is France
Well, I really don't understand the glowing restaurant reviews. The food was bloody awful. We have stayed and eaten at 7 different hotels during our road trip and the food at L'Industrie was by far the worst. Uninspired is an understatement, couldn't even cook the fried potatoes properly, they were warm, limp and not crisp at all.
Then there was the noise. We only became aware of the very loud music from the nearby bars when we returned to the room after supper. No mention of disturbance in any reviews I read. It finally packed up at 2am but the shouting and carrying on went on 'til 3am. So not the best nights sleep to say the least. Really not best pleased.

Nice hotel text from staff about where key was good location.
We booked a single room and a twin room as wee are 3 men travelling, when we got there we found we had 2 double beds ! I sent the owner a message but got no reply, no staff on site. We had to book another hotel for 1 guest costing 104 euros. Spoke to staff next morning who were not interested and said they were full.

Nice hotel located in central position in the town, clean and spacious room, big comfortable bed, bath and shower.
Some confusion when we arrived, the staff member wasn't aware that we had booked a room but resolved quickly. No parking at hotel, we had to park a few minutes walk away. When we went to leave in the morning another staff member thought that we hadn't paid so I had to show my receipt from when I paid for the room the previous day, once again resolved quickly

The owners and staff were exceptional. The room was quiet, and hotel perfectly placed to explore the town. The breakfast was original and beautifully presented. Home made bread as well. Evening dinner was superb. Would eat here again definitely.
The toilet was stained with off colour limescale. No milk was offered for tea / coffee. No coffee machine in room per booking. The bottom sheet on double bed needs replacing - its old and 'bobbly'.

The hotel is in the perfect location for a short stay in St Omer. We were close to the Cathedral and the breathtaking public gardens, which are definitely worth a visit. The hotel is also close to the St Omer Marshes centre. Although we drove there, it is only a 10 minute walk away. A boat tour of the marshes is highly recommended. Our room was an extremely comfortable suite with a separate living room which included a TV with sofa, a small dining table and chairs, a fully stocked (chargeable) fridge/bar, a kettle with tea and coffee and a microwave. We booked lunch in the restaurant and it was excellent.
Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable stay with friendly hosts. Many thanks.

I stayed on a Monday and the restaurant was closed, by all accounts it is highly recommended and the prime attraction of the hotel. My room was fine for a 2 star hotel and the manager was very pleasant and helpful. The location couldn't be more central and parking nearby is easy.
The check in/out arrangements are a little complicated as the reception is only open during restaurant hours.
