Good location when using Eurotunnel, close to restaurants. Safe parking. Reasonable breakfast. Value for money.
Mattress cover was rather hot under sheet. Noisy doors. No kettle.

All was good

Enclosed parking, walkable into centre, convenient on way to Chunnel.
Paper sheet (uncomfortable and not ecofriendly). Great diffidculty flushing the loo (on evening of arrival it totally refused to flush!) When we reported this to the front desk, instead of offering a different room (which we expected), the response was' well it isn't actually in your room , is it?

Room was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good and the hotel was very close to the town centre which was nice.
Car park was a bit small

Comfortable bed, staff on duty in Reception, convenient location.
I've had better coffee in Ibis Budget hotels, but perhaps I chose badly.

This is a modest hotel providing excellent value for money accommodation, but with few facilities other than a clean and comfortable bedroom and a modest breakfast. You get what you pay fore. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff, bed and the breakfast. This is a perfect first stop on a long journey to the south of France. We arrived at around 2am in the morning and the male receptionist was really fantastic. Very welcoming and no fuss check in. He helped us find a parking spot in a very busy car park. The breakfast was really lovely and fresh. Coffee, pastries, fruit and yoghurt all above expectations for an Ibis Budget. The room is small as expected but the bed is super comfortable with lovely fresh bed linen. We will stay her again, Thank You

Breakfast was good.
Noisy road.
Price too high for quality, the Ibis in the centre of town was a similar price and looked better.

It’s perfect location for a quick stop off before the ferry. Looks like it’s used a lot but they managed to keep the place very clean. For the price it’s excellent

The distance to the town centre weren't as close as it looks on booking.com

Window overlooked car park - noisy. Smokers congregated under our window. Needed the window open as air conditioning would only go down to 22.

Travelling with a friend, on bicycles, to watch Le Tour! Twin bedded room was just about big enough (we kept the bikes in the room!) for the little time we actually spent in there. Shower & toilet were just OK - neither was in a separate bathroom so it was quite intimate! Buffet continental breakfast was OK - not really sure if it was worth just around £8 pppn though.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times the location is just right. The room as everything you need. The location and hotel we found to be quiet, slept well. Booking in was not a problem. The breakfast was okay.
I don't there was anything I dislikes.

It is a functional hotel, giving you what you pay for, a comfy bed for the night and somewhere to shower. The breakfast was better that I have had in more expensive places. Close to the city centre and perfect for a stop-over before catching a ferry - just 35 minutes up the road. I arrived very late, so it was good that the reception was still open and there was someone to welcome me. Parking was a little limited by then but there was still space and it felt secure. They also allow a relatively late checkout (1130 am), which means you can sleep-in, after a late drive the night before, or take a morning bike ride and have a shower before going for your ferry (which is what I did).

Over bed is too high

A basic but very clean and comfortable place to stay. Ideal for a night stop-over. The gentleman on the front desk who helped us check-in late at night was very friendly and spoke passable english. The breakfast was plentiful albeit no-frills.
The shower/loo is pretty tiny - fine for us, but if you are XXL then probably not so easy...

Rundown feels more like hostel more than a hotel rooms were not clean shower was like a camping shower never used it dirty holes and cracks in the plastic. The walls in the rooms were dirty and had stains up them needed refurbishing.
Needs refurbishing and repainting beds were uncomfortable and flat pillows luckily had her own pillows in the car

Bathroom layout was good for people sharing room. Shower excellent, with shelf to put stuff on.
Some dirt in corners of floor. Bedlinen smelled very slightly of stale cigarette smoke. (My sister-in-law made the same comment about her room). Bedside "table" much too small. Breakfast room too small and food not conveniently laid out (eg juice before glasses to pour it into) - this wouldn't have been a problem if the small room hadn't been so crowded. I was woken up at 1.00 am by people going to their room without making any effort to be quiet - not really the hotel's fault but I was then awake for two hours, and my tolerance for the inconvenient breakfast room was lowered by lack of sleep.

really a no fuss budget hotel, with easy checkin checkout. Hotel has ample parking spots. Room was compact and comfortable with all facilities.
Breakfast could be better.
