Perfect stay in Leuven in beautiful tiny hotel - highly recommended!

A very cosy, well decorated location. Our room was on the 1st floor and had very comfy bed, plus the aircon was great to have during hot summer days. A mini fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine is also nice to have! The room offers a perfect use of space, it is just a few mins walk from the city center of beautiful Leuven. Check-in and communication with the host was easy, and the host was always available and very responsive to make sure we had a perfect stay. I highly recommend this Mini Hotel and will be happy to book here again.

Comfortable simple living in a calm part of the city center.

The room is very much worth the price. You have everything you need and the bed was very comfortable. The area is quite nice and calm, not much traffic. And it is close enough to the city center so you can just walk anywhere. I would absolutely come back if I need a place to stay in Leuven in the future. Would recomend!

Heartless and rude owner/manager.

The room was clean.

Avoid at all cost. To keep it short, I was "kicked out" of the unit after 1 night (booked for 4nights). Got a message via whats app that he was canceling my stay and to come back immediately to get my stuff. After returning from across the street at the laundromat, as I enter, he shouts at me that I caused the dirt on the wall. He then shouts at me that bicycle is not allowed inside the room. I pleaded with him as I had the Gravel World Championship next day. He shouts back at me that I have 20 mins to pack my things and leave. I pleaded again that I will clean the walls but to my dismay, he simply shouted to leave. Never in my life was I ever treated in such way and was in complete shock. Hurrily packed my stuff in plastic bags, bag, bike etc since I was given only 20 mins. Luckily met the owner of the laundromat across the street who helped me suggest a hotel (booked in booking.com and had 1 room left luckily) and even drove me there. Later I received an email that this place is charging me 500 euro to repaint the walls plus the 4 nights I booked, after reading that, I simply didn't any words. This traumatic event kept me awake and obviously affected my race in a huge way. I am writing this so that others won't have to go through such traumatic event in their life. If this happened in my own country and if I wasn't racing the next day, I would have fought back. Been using booking.com for decades and having stayed in so many places around world, and never has this ever happen. I believe the owner/manager is heartless and such inhumane treatment should never be allowed.

Great for a couple of night to visit leuven

Excellent shower, decent size room with couple of UK TV channels. Just enough walk from leuven center to be comfortable. Kitchen area , sink shower and toilet are all in one room. Which did seem odd, but we did make it work. We didn't etempt cooking or heating food, but it does have the eating area if you want takeaways/ delivery. Room was serviced each day , unusual with a apartment rental. Parking was nearby in underground car park and there is 2 flights of stairs. We didn't see the host much but that was perfect for us, but he was usually there and available to message. Quite area with good glazing to keep noise out.

Towels were a bit hard, but then noticed this at other stays in Belgium. A couple of J cloths and spray cleaner would be a good idea as you are washing up the cups and then using as bathroom sink. Just a few bits that need attention, the flooring between the rooms is apart and I kept tripping on it and stubbed Deep clean in area between the shower and sink unit is needed and under the bed .

A wonderful room for a stay as a couple or a single!

The room was so nicely decorated with new and modern furniture. There was a table where I could do some home office. The bathroom was big and had a nice big shower and a coffee machine and even a small fridge and microwave and tee kettle and even some cups and plates. A small wine bottle waited as a welcome. That was so nice.

It is a little bit noisy outside but when you close the window, it is absolutely fine and I had a good nights sleep.

Superb

The location is amazing, so close to the city centre, which also made it really good value. No breakfast is provided but there is a brilliant bakery further down the street. Also, they provide plates, cutlery, cups and glasses, etc to help you if you get food in. If you drive, there is excellent, secure and great value for money parking just around the corner. Our room had aircon which was really useful given the weather when we were there. The beds were really comfortable - we both slept soundly.

My wife and I disagreed about the general setup of the place. We had a bedroom that also contained table and chairs, and a large bathroom which was also where the fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee-maker, and wardrobe were located. I soon got used to this and it did not bother me at all. My wife was a bit discombobulated by it though, which is why some of the individual scores here are not a maximum. For me, location and value for money more than outweighed the unusual setup. It threw her a bit.

Perfect for a few days break seeing the city.

This is a great place to stay, very comfortable, really clean and in a great location. Keys are in a lock box and instructions were clear and given well in advance, which is always nice. There are some great touches like mosquito nets over the bedroom window, and otherwise its got aircon so comfortable even in summer. I'd happily stay again.

Its that good that the 'don't likes' are pretty frivolous, like it would be nice to have a couple more coffee pods and some black/breakfast tea bags. Not much to criticise!

pleasant stay, good value for money, well equipped and clean studio

the apartment (studio) is located centrally, just 9 min walk to Leueven train station. self check in was easy. customer service was exceptionally friendly and professional-I asked for early check -in and I’ve got my keys by 1 pm. Studio has everything you need for short stay and even more than I expected: comfortable bad, dinning table , chair , I have been provided with coffee machine (I was so happy about it) and capsules , tea, milk, shower gel, shampoo, iron , WiFi, TV, nice shower, cleanliness is 10 out of 10, neighbours are so quite (I really like it too), parking just around the corner. there is no washing machine but laundry service is literally in front of the entrance, shopping street is 2 min walk . Good value for money . Pleasant stay. I definitely recommend this property for short stays!

Exceptional

We had a lovely stay at the Boutique Guesthouse Leuven this week! The location could not be more convenient - it took us less than 15 minutes by foot to get to the city center and to the Stella Artois brewery, and the train station was just a short walk away too. The room was exactly as pictured, and our experience was very well taken care of, with the property manager consistently making sure we had everything that we needed for a great stay. Would definitely recommend for a future stay!

Small attic room, with coffee machine in shower room, rules (no shoes on) and no privacy

Tiny place - 300€ for 3 nights - expensive for what it is : room under roof with carpeting - coffee machine in shower room. For price value I would have been better with Airbnb or real hotel room. Messages from owner on WhatsApp saying that there was a rule in the house: removing of shoes and putting on slippers. Owner went into the room to check in the pretense of cleaning. I am allergic to carpet and owner did not let me have the room on 1st floor without carpet even though it was free.

Great place to stay when exploring Leuven

A comfortable mini-apartment in a quiet street - great location for exploring Leuven. The apartment has everything you need for a few days: a nice comfortable bed, a great shower, tea and Nespresso coffee, even a complimentary half bottle of wine. Near to shops, a nice restaurant on the corner, 10 minutes walk from the center of the city. Hosts were extremely helpful with recommendations and advice on WhatsApp. A great place to come back to again!

Dear readers, I truly appreciated my stay! The host was really reactive and kind ! He actually cares about his guests needs and is very open to communication! Something that is very lacking in the online booking industry : the humain connection. The location is very close to the center but, at the same time, it is also located in a calm street so you can sleep quietly at night. Perfect for a little getaway even if you live in Belgium. I loved being a tourist in the country that I live in. Have an enjoyable time. S.Molay
