Comfy and relaxing experience

Location is great, close to City Centre. A few Pubs/Restaurants within 5min walk from apartment. Nice walks just outside the appartment.

A few items are missing like toilet brush, iron although there is and ironing board. Few items need some maintainance. Otherwise a well kept apparment with all aminities needed for a nice comfortable stay.

Ease of getting the keys.

Information at time of booking said "free parking" available, but there was non. Heating was not on and we could not reach the staff for enquiries. One of the sleeping mattress was not good enough to sleep on. The cooking pots provided were really quite small for the family and no cooking or beverage supplies were provided.

Location

Not enough bedding, after contacting the host they did provide extra bedding. The apartment hadn’t been cleaned properly, bins hadn’t been cleaned, items left in wardrobe from previous guest. Sofa bed very uncomfortable. Emailed the host when we returned regarding issues, still waiting for a response.

Flat was well located, not cleaned to a very good standard but also lacked parking facilities.

There was parking after 6 pm during the night until 8 am if you managed to find a spot.

This property needs some permanent parking facility nearby.

Excellent value for money. Ideal for a stay in Newport.

The location was perfect for our needs. Well fitted kitchen and all home comforts including Netflix. Very good supply of tea/coffee and milk on arrival and the small bottle of wine was a nice little touch.

Bedrooms were hot and beds not that comfy. Parking was not as described. No street parking or designated space so had to use the car park bearby which was more expensive than stated.

The accommodation was fine but cold, as I couldn't get the heating to work.

When I booked I applied the Free Parking filter, there was n o parking and I had to park 15mins walk away which wasnt ideal

The apartment inside was clean and comfortable, the location was good, once we found it.

I guess the Like regarding the Keys is that you don't need to hang around or arrange a specific meet up time to be handed them

The Lockbox is located in a shed where the Rubbish for the whole building is stored. Its smelly to be polite, the lockbox is in a dark corner, there is zero lighting and to cap it all broken down furniture is stored in front of the lock box. This makes it very difficult to get the combination correct, open the lock box whilst holding an iPhone Torch to try to see what you are doing. Not a great start especially when you arrive in the evening and also have trouble locating the building as well.

Great Location but has a few issues.

The location was very good. It was short walk to a major shopping centre . The apartment was also a good size with a view across the river and a balcony.

I received instructions for obtaining the keys on the morning before we arrived. The instructions included two different codes for access to the bin store. The bin store contained bags of rubbish and the key locker was located behind a bicycle rack. The apartment was not very clean. There were cup stains on the side table and greasy trays were left in the oven. The cupboard door to the washing machine was off it's hinges, There was no wash cloth for dishes and one bin liner (none in the bathroom). There was only one full size fork in the cutlery tray.. I contacted the property manager who rectified all of these issues on a Saturday which was very much appreciated. The bathroom did not have any towel rails or shelves and the mirror was very small. Free parking was available in a nearby street but you had to be lucky. The apartment was on the third floor so dragging your luggage down the road and then negotiating 6 flights of stairs was a bit of a work out. There were no instructions for the washing machine or wi fi. There was also an odour in the living room. (Although this is not about the apartment itself, the suggested parking station nearby was;s easily accessed above an Iceland Store but Pay by phone charged my international credit card an additional 10 pounds for which I am yet to get a refund.)

Lovely place, Poor parking.

The location and view were ideal, close enough to walk into the city, far enough away to be quiet.

Cleanliness was ok, but could of easily been better. Bathroom door handle was loose and washing machine door too...! Parking was very poor.

no Wi-Fi password, no instructions on how to turn heating on, as it turned wet n cold Saturday night. On emptying rubbish, the bin store was disgusting with maggots and flies everywhere and the awfull smell.My son and his wife were physically sick when they came out of it. there was plenty of glasses and cups, but only two dinner plates which was strange also two cupboard doors of the hinges. needs a mirror in hallway as only one in bathroom

Loved how close it was to everything. How easy the property was to get access to. We definitely would stay again.

Parking was a little tricky. The nearest car park was a little expensive. But you can park on the street. You just have to be lucky with time for space. The bedding also Smelt a little off.

Modern, very clean, comfortable , spacious,well located accommodation . Lovely balcony overlooking the river. Complimentary tea/ coffee etc including mini bottle of wine.

Parking was a bit difficult as football match was on when we arrived and many of the suggested streets are resident permit holder only. Only 3 plates and 3 forks available for a group of 4 of us. Toaster needs attention and no instruction booklets for appliances available. A tea towel and hand towel would be useful for the kitchen.

Some of the kitchen appliances felt a little unsafe. The kettle lid didn't close and so would have just kept boiling if left unattended. On the cooker there was no indication if which dial was for which hob which seemed a bit dangerous as you had to guess which belonged to which by the heat coming off the hob.
