Everything we needed. More than we expected was provided. Everything was well set up with clear notes.
Owners live upstairs but we barely heard any noise. Washing machine and dryer was a bonus.
The accommodation is attached to some scruffy properties which at first had me worried but don't let that put you off. The 'with garden' is a bit of a stretch.

Clean and very well organized guest house. The personal fridge for my room in the shared kitchen was a nice touch. Not much in the area but it 5 minutes walk to a nice pub.
The garden was huge but not well kept. Bit of wasted potential there. Nice cut grass and a picnic table would go a long way.

Conveniently located for work, supermarkets, and transport links. Nice and clean, and lots of hot drinks laid out by the hosts.
The hot water took a while to come through, especially in the kitchen, and some more plates/bowls/glasses would be nice.

The room was clean, check in communication was good. Location was close to my office. Room had amenities.
It is an old property. It is in a run down condition and need an up lift. Since the room is close to main road there was a lot of noise from the road. I was told the owner is living upstairs. The most dissappitning part was the noise from upstairs at 12 midnight, sounded like the owner was cleaning, hoovering etc. The owner should have been more considerable of his guests staying below. Property has got poor noise insulation, so I couldn't sleep the whole night till the noise settled.
