Japanese breakfast is superb. The staff couldn’t have been better. The hotel is true luxury and close to Shinagawa station so easy to get to; the main Tokyo attractions are a train trip away. The Japanese garden is serene in such a busy city.
The hotel is part of a large complex and using the spa and sauna was in another part of the complex.

The room was very big and the beds were extremely comfortable. The gardens surrounding the property are gorgeous! We also had access to all the lounges offering complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day and evening.
This hotel is 2 floors within another hotel and the main entrance is combined with the main hotel. Staff should be educated about the facilities for this hotel as they were unable to answer questions. Also English was very basic from most staff. In addition, they were unable to make a latte without regular milk which is really hard to comprehend for a hotel these days and especially one you pay $1000 for a night.

Room cleanness, staff at receptions
The shower was not getting to the desired temperature, It was too cold and after long time started to become too hut but I could not get it to the temperature needed. The chief at breakfast was very unfriendly and we felt he was rude.
