Ted was a kind host - kept our bags for us and was really lovely. The breakfast was very good and the location excellent. Facilities were basic but everything you need and scrupulously clean.

Remember to bring your own tea / coffee sachets as just a kettle. The stairs are steep.

EVERYTHING. We had a fantastic nights sleep in the most welcoming accommodation we have had on our Europe trip. The host is the most caring and welcoming person you will meet! We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy his company and this place a bit longer. Location is great too! A quick walk to the centre but out enough to be nice and quiet while you sleep. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The room was well-appointed and the hotel was located in a quiet and friendly area. The host went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. From the moment I arrived, he greeted me warmly and always addressed me by my name, which added a personalized touch to the service. His genuine care and attention to detail made me feel valued as a guest and truly enhanced my overall experience. I would gladly return to this hotel in the future!

Ted, the host, greeted me by name at the door. my bags were taken to my room which wasn’t necessary but Ted is wonderful host. the style of the place is quite cozy and I had a wonderful stay.

Not a comfortable stay - leaking ceiling meant it was a damp and cold night.

Very friendly and polite staff (I think the owner). Breakfast was fine.

The ceiling was leaking water into the room in 2 different places. The minimum I expect from a hotel room is that it keeps the rain out. No 24hr reception meant that I couldn't ask to be moved to a different room, so I had no choice but to try to sleep in a damp and cold room that had puddles forming on the floor. It was also not clean. There was a lot of hair around the sink in the room.

Great stay

The hotel is a family run business and located in Parkstrasse. Very quiet neighbourhood and love it. The owner is friendly and help me with luggage cause my room is upper floor.

keeping in mind the place was booked a week in advance we enjoyed our stay. bathroom is located outside the room and you need coins to have a warm running water. breakfast was okay, the owner is one of the most helpful and positive people i have met.

Situated close to the city center of Utrecht, this well let's say retro-style hotel surprised us with its welcoming host and great service (simple breakfast included!) for a small price. We enjoyed our stay!
