The location of the hotel was perfect and only a few minutes by foot from the old town. If you happen to have a room with a view, you have perfect views to the duomo and the famous tower.
The doors were not very soundproof and you could hear noise from the corridor from other guests.

The location is excellent!
The room was quite basic and neither my partner nor I could fit into the shower with the door closed (I just kept it open)! We had one grumpy receptionist upon arrival but then one absolutely delightful front desk person later on (Beatrice I think?). The instructions to drive there were very confusing - which is not great bc we misunderstood them and now may get a Eu60 fine for going the wrong way through the old town! That could have been made clearer!
