Design Apartments Florence- Florence City Center

I visited Florence during the horrid summer heatwave, and having a beautiful air-conditioned apartment 3 minutes away from Duomo waiting for me was wonderful! The place has individual AC units in the bedroom and the living room, shutters that kept the place soundproof, a refrigerator, a washer/dryer, and a nicely updated bathroom. 10 out of 10

The apartment is located about a 10–15 minute walk from the Duomo, which worked well for us as it was quieter and away from the crowds. The space looks just like the photos—vintage, eclectic, spacious, and very clean. We were also able to check in early, which helped us with our plans for the day. Thank you, Dimitri, for being flexible and for the good communication.

Stunning historical building. I loved everything about it. The apt is gorgeous and the host was responsive and helpful. Quiet location. Easy walk to the tram (but the tram doesn’t go into the heart of the historical neighborhoods where the sightseeing is). Easy to get the tram to and from the airport. Very well equipped kitchen.

The only thing that was a problem is I booked their other apt that shows it is by the river and in the middle of the attractions I wanted to see. I love walking Florence, but am disabled and walking far is difficult. The switch was hard.

The property was really close to the center so we didn’t have to walk long distances. It had warm water and at night we weren’t cold.

It’s definitely not like the photos . It’s a lot smaller . The bathroom wasn’t at the photos they uploaded. We were expecting a big bathroom and instead we had a much smaller one . We booked it for 3 people and one of us had to sleep with a light duvet in January . The bed the rest of us were sleeping was not clean . Everything was covered in dust and we found many hair that surely weren’t ours not only in bed but in the bathroom too. Lastly we couldn’t check in before 12 and we had to wait outside the apartment earlier we had to wait for Dimitri to come even though there was no one upstairs who was checking out or was cleaning .
