Well thought out with unexpected extras

Amazing location, great building, excellent environmentally friendly initiatives, comfortable bed, good a/c and sound-proofing. Easy access by the keyless reception, I found the app worked really well (but did give me anxiety about my phone battery 🤣).

The TV didn’t work - the batteries in the remote were flat and none were available in the supplies room as suggested. When I fed this back the advice was to go and buy some - not late in the evening in the pouring rain in a city I hardly know when I’m paying enough for the room already! Also the stairs carpet was showing severe wear and tear in several places and needs to be addressed as a safety issue.

I have stayed in several Bob W apartments in different locations, and my experience has always been very positive. The apartments are creatively designed, functional, and equipped with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The communication through the chat service is also excellent, with quick and helpful responses whenever needed. Bob W is a company I can genuinely recommend and would happily book with again.

The shower was great. The location was convenient for our needs. The little touches such as reusable water bottles, nice complementary snacks and teas and a yoga mat were pleasant and added to the feel of the place. The room felt very warm but the air-conditioning was excellent when needed. Noise between other rooms and guests was ok for the majority of our stay, but we noted on the Saturday night that we could hear some particularly excited neighbours very clearly.

The room was much smaller than it appeared in the photos. The bed was tiny and pushed up against a wall on one side. For two, one of whom is 6 ft 4, this was pretty uncomfortable. The biggest downside for us was that room wasn't cleaned at all on our 5 night stay. This doesn't feel like something guests should have to request. As there are no reception staff on the premises, most of your communication is supposed to be done through the app they provide. Initially there appeared to be a section in the app that allowed you to request the room to be cleaned, but we couldn't find this after the first few nights. For some reason, our room had a frosted glass front door. We didn't see other rooms with this and it just felt strange for privacy.
