I was not sure about this hotel, as I do not know the group. But I was very pleasantly surprised! Check in is via an iPad like e-Systems’s, but is not challenging and the staff were there to help anyway.
The hotel has a lobby bar and lounge area with a fireplace (gas simulated flames) and the restaurant where breakfast is served. There are also toilets.
Our room (a twin) was not big at all, but sufficient for our stay. There was a large TV with BBC News, if that’s what you would watch… The room has a kettle and a Nespresso coffe machine - but you get coffee pods on day one only…
The thing I didn’t like is that the “bathroom” is in the room. No segregation from the sink area and the bedroom. The shower is also there and has a large clear glass door to the room - so no privacy at all - so if travelling with friends, make sure they are Very Good Friends… Opposite the shower is a huge mirror - which I could certainly have done without… 🤣. The toilet at least is separate. There is also an iPad in the room to order room service etc. from. We had a broken shower head holder in our shower. I reported it the evening we arrived and it was fixed immediately!
Overall a well located hotel,
Plenty of nice little Berlin cafes and restaurants around and a 10 minute walk to Alexander platz. Less to Hackescher Markt…

Had a great 2 night stay here. Lovely breakfast available for €18 each, bacon egg, pancakes, pastries and coffee
Room was great value, larger than expected but still a small room. Little balcony. Large shower and separate toilet. All staff were lovely

The hotel’s location is excellent, situated close to a variety of trendy restaurants. While the self check-in process was somewhat unexpected, it was straightforward and not inconvenient.
