Did not like the bar and restaurant area. Very noisy children’s party when we arrived and even the next day it was noisy, very dim lighting, garish red decoration and quite honestly wasn’t appropriate for such a lovely hotel

Reception area and staff were very welcoming and made a fabulous first impression. Impressive bar and restaurant area (including a dedicated smoking room for those so inclined). Good breakfast choices
Couldn't see a sign for the toilets from reception/bar/restaurant except going downstairs into the basement

The location was excellent and the staff were friendly
1. Room service wasn’t 24/7 as advertised, it ended at 11pm. They also didn’t answer the phone and we had to go down to reception and complain where they stated they didn’t do room service.
2. Over zealous cleaning staff and workers entering your room to check minibar use/ clean bedrooms despite system being engaged for it not to be cleaned and us disturbed.
3. Hotel bar closed to residents at midnight.
4. Minibar stocked with one bottle of spirits , not much use when two desire the same drink.
5. Breakfast - cold eggs each morning presented for guests. I appreciate this was a temporary arrangement but this shouldn’t happen.
