For a high rated hotel the facilities are just alright for one night it was good enough

I had high expectations for Pullman, but unfortunately my stay was overshadowed by several serious issues that I would not expect from a hotel in this price range. The biggest problem—and by far the most frustrating—was the internet. For almost the entire day, from the morning until around 4:00 PM, the Wi-Fi was practically unusable. It would connect for a few seconds and then disconnect again. During that time I was trying to book transportation and accommodation for my next destination. Because the connection kept dropping, I repeatedly clicked to proceed to the next page, and one of my bookings was accidentally confirmed and prepaid. Due to the unstable internet, I couldn’t cancel it in time. This expensive mistake would never have happened if the hotel’s internet had been functioning properly. The breakfast was another disappointment. The quality of the food was below what I would expect even from many four-star hotels in China. Rather than feeling international or continental, it was heavily focused on basic German-style breakfast items and processed foods. There were sausages, potato croquettes, canned beans, pickled olives, cauliflower, and other preserved ingredients. Guests with dietary restrictions or those looking for healthier or more varied options may struggle to find suitable choices. The hotel itself also feels rather cramped in some areas. The swimming pool was surprisingly difficult to locate, and the gym is far too limited for anyone wanting a proper workout, with only minimal equipment available. The room also had several maintenance issues. The refrigerator leaked constantly, leaving water pooled at the bottom, and the temperature could not be adjusted properly. I was carrying injectable medication that needed reliable cooling, and unfortunately the refrigerator could not maintain an appropriate temperature. The shower was perhaps the worst part of the room. The drain was badly clogged, so within minutes of starting a shower, water would build up around my feet, leaving me standing in a puddle of soapy water that drained away only very slowly. For a hotel charging around €*** per night, this is simply unacceptable. The hotel did upgrade me to a slightly better room within the same category, which I appreciated. However, I was surprised that they still required a €150 security deposit. What made this especially frustrating was my personal situation. Just before arriving, I had been robbed on a train in Germany. My wallet, cash, credit cards, cameras, and other equipment—worth around €7,000 in total—were stolen. I explained to the hotel that my cards had been cancelled and that I had very limited funds available while still needing to remain in Europe for another two weeks before returning to Asia. Despite understanding my situation, the hotel made no exception and insisted on taking the €150 deposit. Even more frustrating, the deposit was not released after checkout. I was informed that it could take up to a week to be returned. It has now been several days, and I am still waiting. When you are already dealing with the financial consequences of a robbery, having another €150 temporarily unavailable creates additional stress that could have been avoided with a more compassionate approach. To be clear, I understand why hotels require security deposits as a general policy. My disappointment is not with the existence of the policy itself, but with the complete lack of flexibility or empathy shown in exceptional circumstances. I believe situations like these should be reviewed by management rather than handled as a one-size-fits-all procedure. Overall, the location is good, and some members of the staff were polite. However, poor internet, maintenance problems, disappointing breakfast quality, limited facilities, and the lack of understanding regarding my situation left me with an overall disappointing impression. Sadly, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

We booked this hotel with our kids especially for the pool. Once we are arrived to hotel we were informed that pool is closed. we asked for a transfer to another hotel, they offered us to use some other hotel's pool. in winter time!! walking there get into pool and walk back to hotel when Berlin was under all the snow.... Phone in the room wasnt working, some lights either. Staff did their best i cant complaint about that but overall our experience is very bad.
