Very friendly and welcoming owners who work hard to look after their guests. The property is quiet, comfortable and surrounded by its own garden. Just 5 minutes walk from Plaka beach, local tavernas and several supermarkets. Also, a few minutes walk to the regular bus service to Naxos Port, or a 10 minute taxi ride to Naxos airport.

Perfect Stay Close to the Beach

Everything is brand new and comfortable. Kitchen was great to prepare our breakfast that we enjoyed on the terrace with a beautiful view (and sometimes cute cats!). 2mins walk to the peaceful plaka beach. We relied on the bus, which worked perfectly, the bus station is super close to the homes. Mini Market is close as well, and a lot of restaurants in walking distance. Kiki was the absolute best, helping us with everything we needed and on a rainy day she even brought us homemade snacks and cake. Thank you for making us feel welcome!

The best place to stay in Plaka!

Everything. Kiki was so kind, she is truly the best. The room was clean and exactly like the pictures. An ideal location in Plaka without the price tag of the resorts. There are plenty of places nearby for food and drinks. Of all the places I stayed all over Greece this was by far my favorite. Kiki was an amazing host with a beautiful property. If I ever come back to Naxos, I would stay nowhere else.

Wifi was a bit spotty, but that's the only complaint. I loved this place.

A beautiful place at a great location

The room was beautiful. Everything was clean and comfortable! There was enough space for our needs and a very nice balcony for breakfast or free time. The owner is polite and friendly and willing to help anytime of the day. A very hospitable environment, easily reachable and very close to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay! Kiki, Caterina, Kiki’s mom, and Cassandra were absolutely lovely — warm, welcoming, and always ready to make us feel at home. You can immediately see how well cared-for the place is: everything was spotless and perfectly organized. In the kitchen, we even found a brand-new sponge! A small touch that shows just how much care and attention is given to guests. It’s clear that everything here is done with heart — and above all, with a smile. The atmosphere is relaxing, the neighborhood is quiet, and we felt truly pampered from the first to the last day. We really hope to come back soon!

Amazing service and super cute property

The property is clean, cute, very close to the beach and in a very quiet environment. It’s easily accessible. The staff is amazing and super friendly, welcoming and so helpful and considerate. We loved our stay and felt at home. The studio was spacious and very comfortable.

Great value for money, perfect location and the hosts are wonderful - highly recommended!

The room was super new, nicely fitted with everything necessary. I had a lovely balcony with a sea view, where I could have coffe or a drink and hang my clothes to dry. The property owners are fantastic - they came to pick me up at bus stop, even if it is only a few meters away. I had a wedding to attend so on the wedding day Kiki insisted to drive me there so I would not have to walk in the heat...so nice of her :-)

A wonderful stay in Plaka, Naxos.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Plaka, Naxos. The accommodation was in excellent condition—spotlessly clean and very neat. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, just steps from the sea and very peaceful—ideal for relaxing days and nights. I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome stay

It’s difficult to find a place where everything goes well and this was the case and beyond. The owners, specially Kiki were awesome, always caring about us for having a comfortable stay. The place has every detail covered and all things are good quality. Bed was great. The place is really close to the beach and pretty close to restaurants. Looking forward to come back

A beautiful, clean room in a great location. Couldn't recommend enough.

The room and balcony were perfect in terms of space and comfort. The little kitchenette meant I could make my coffee and breakfast in the morning and I could chill for a bit in the afternoon as well. They offered me a sweet homemade treat when I arrived which was delicious and so hospitable. They offered to book me a taxi when I arrived, which was so helpful to have the taxi at the airport when I arrived.

I made cold Greek coffee (Frappe), which I love, but I didn't get into using the coffee filter machine they had available in the room as I needed to buy coffee filters and coffee, which would have been a waste for the few days I would have been there.

Great location 2 minute walk to Plaka beach. The room was extremely clean as was the property grounds. Amazing friendly courteous hosts, even bring cookies and or cake just about every day. We stayed for 8 nights and would definitely come back.

Stay Here for a Fab Relaxing Holiday!

What a fantastic stay!!! Kiki, Katarina, and their mum are all absolutely lovely. Kiki helped arrange a taxi for me from near the port as it was very late, I needed food, and the taxis were all charging different rates, etc. She greeted me and helped me to my room (which she upgraded!). Then Kiki made sure I knew where everything was in and near the accommodation. The next morning, I met her mother, and though she didn't speak much English, she helped me over the border wall with a wee step ladder and guided me to the beach, supermarket, and pool (the Plaza Beach Hotel- they'll let you use the pool if you order something at the bar and they let me use the gym for free!). Later, I met Katarina, Kiki's sister, and she gave me some recommendations during my stay before giving me a lift to the bus stop. Mama was so kind as to service my room above and beyond! She made traditional baked goods, which she left for me daily (though Katarina delivered on my departure 😄🥰). She even washed and hung my laundry while I was out for the day 🥹🙏💙 The whole family made me feel right at home. They were so very kind and accommodating. All of them went above and beyond expectations, and I can't thank you enough for your hospitality and for such a lovely stay! The accommodation itself is tastefully designed and very comfortable 👌 The shower is amazing 😍 Rainfall & removable 😁 The bed, super comfy 😴 The kitchenette is basic but has all the essentials. There are 2 balconies so you can always have sun or shade 😎 The location is unbeatable! 3 min walk to the beach, mini Market, pool, cafes, gym, bus stop, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for your stay in Plaka!!!

If I could give this accommodation a 20 star review, I would! Absolutely perfect! The owner, her mother and the cleaning lady were all so so so welcoming, nice and polite. It was very clean and a great studio with a balcony. Just a jump away from the beach. Everything is pretty new. I am blown away and I do hope I can return some day. Thank you for everything!

We had wonderful time in Plaka.

A simple but tastefully furnished and clean apartment in a quiet area. Cleaned daily, towels changed every two days. Five minutes walk to the beach. There is a bus stop nearby, from where it takes about half an hour to get to Chora. Very kind, warm-hearted and helpful owner.

Wonderful time by the sea.

Many thanks to our excellent hosts Anna, Katrina and Kiki. They really looked after us from the moment of us booking our delightful studio through to making sure we got our taxi to the airport when we departed. The studio was a double bed with fantastic views to the beach. Very chic room design. So easy to get to as it is right next to the last stop of Line 1 bus to Plaka from Nexos Town.

Although the hotel is minutes away from the bus station, the bus on the island is not very reliable, especially the direction from plaka to the port.

Exceptional

Wonderfull family owned hotel with the owners always around to give you some helpful advice about things to do and where to eat on the island! The rooms are new with great functioning AC witch was much needed on the hot days we were there. The location is also great next to the beach but far enough to be away from traffic and within a short drive to the Chora of Naxos. All round excellent, greatly recommend booking here! Thanks a lot guys !!

Superb

The room was precisely cleaned everyday and the personnel was really welcoming. One morning we got a nice suprise, some cake and omelet in the room. The location is good on Plaka beach, not as busy but still close enough to all to restaurants etc. There is a bus stop very close and its also possible to use a nearby pool when buying some refreshements or food.

Everything was good! Would be nice to have some shampoo, but that's a small thing. Bed was not the nicest.

Exceptional

Beforehand I would like to mention that I have been travelling to Naxos for many many years. I used to stay in Agia Anna/Maragas, but then it became too crowded and busy from my point of view and I started to look for accommodations further southwards at Plaka. Last year I found “Mare Monte” and I was overwhelmed by by the hospitality. Katherina and her mother simply give you the feeling of being welcomed without being obtrusive. In addition to that the apartments are are well maintained and cleaned every day, spring-cleaned, as well as towels and blanket are changed regularly. I would describe it as a relatively high standard. Don’t be irritated by the fact that accommodations next door are more expensive, they have not got a higher standard. In terms of the location I can say that it is perfect, because on the one hand it is a quite place and on the other hand you can reach several taverns in a few minutes on foot and of course you are absolutely near the sea! Not to forget that a small supermarket and the bus stop are really near and you can easily reach busier places and Chora by bus departing every 30 minutes during the high season. So all in all I can highly recommend this accommodation.

very close to the beach and bus stop and mini market. The owners daughter speaks rather good english so when there was a problem she would ask her daughter to phone me to see what I needed. Next door a farmer has chickens,goats,turkies etc so nice to see and hear them. There is a country feel to the place.

Everything was great!

Staff is amazing and very very welcoming! The area is relaxing and peaceful, only 2 minutes walk from the beach. The apartment was comfortable and very clean, nice balcony views as well! It is only 15 min drive to the port, so good location too. Recommended! :)

Wir fühlten uns von der ersten Minute der Anreise an wohl. Die Anlage liegt ruhig nur wenige Schritte vom Meer, das Studio war sehr gut und modern ausgestattet, wurde jeden Tag makellos gesäubert. Kiki, die die Anlage führt, ist um jeden Wunsch Ihrer Gäste bemüht, eine solche Gastfreundlichkeit wie hier ist wunderbar. Für ruhesuchende Individualisten ist die Anlage absolut perfekt und wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Pace e bellezza

La struttura è tenuta benissimo. Gli appartamenti sono pulitissimi (pulizia camera e cambio biancheria giornaliero) e dotati di ogni comfort necessario. La posizione è strategica, a 2 min a piedi dal mare (praticamente la spiaggia di Plaka è di fronte) e 12 min di auto dal centro. Vicino anche ad alcune delle spiagge piu belle di questo versante (Aliko e Mikri). Kiki, l’host della struttura, è una persona fantastica e sempre disponibile, ci ha fornito informazioni molto utili anche sulle attrazioni meno turistiche che ci hanno lasciato molto contenti. L’isola ed i suoi abitanti sono fantastici, io e la mia compagna abbiamo lasciato questo posto commossi. Struttura straconsigliata.

Ottima posizione e vacanza super piacevole a Naxos

A pochi passi da una delle spiagge più belle di Naxos, in una zona super tranquilla. Perfetto per chi vuole godersi il mare di Naxos in modo semplice e comodo. Le ragazze che si occupano della gestione di Mare Monte Studios sono gentilissime e super disponibili per qualsiasi informazione e consiglio sulla zona.

Se proprio devo trovare una cosa da migliorare è la connessione Wi-Fi, che non è il massimo, ma per chi cerca mare e relax non è certo un problema. La nostalgia al ritorno si fa sentire :)

La struttura si trova di fronte alla spiaggia di Plaka, a circa 10 min. da Naxos Chora. Le stanze e gli arredi sono nuovi, essenziali ma ben curati e perfetti per una vacanza di coppia a Naxos. Abbiamo trovato la camera pulitissima. Rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile. Consigliato!
