As vegetarians in Japan we did not know what to expect. For both nights of our stay the chef prepared a vegetarian 7 course dinner just for us. The quality and presentation of the food was superb.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, whether in the restaurant, reception or the bar. The cosy bar was charming.
The bathroom was a little dated, with an over bath shower as opposed to walk-in shower.

Absolutely beautiful views. The staff were lovely and attentive. Room was spacious.
Didn’t sleep too well because of the loud steam heater which was turned off. It was more quiet when turned on.
