Fantastic traditional Ryoken with a restaurant so you don't have to eat in your room. We (2 couples) were given a private room and served the most amazing dinner and breakfasts. The room are spacious and clean but watch out if you prefer a private bathroom. If not, you can you us the Onsen which is great. The staff were super helpful and the free transfer bus to and from Nikko station fantastic.

Beautiful rooms - great views - I have lived in Japan for over 40 years - absolutely top notch "kaiseki" dinner and breakfast. Great location. Not cheap - but excellent value for money.
Its high end kaiseki, not Denny's. Some idiot in management decided to make you order drinks by QR code. Luckily - our delightful waitress - saw sense and allowed us to order through her

The staff were very helpful.
I didn’t have WiFi in my room, even after they tried to fix it. The onsen is small and closed during the day.
