We stayed three days so the modified the breakfast menu for us. The older staff were very experienced, the younger staff friendly and eager learniners. Really close to a great hiking trail along the lake.
The position the ceiling lights in the room made it hard for one person to sleep and the other read.

Great Onsen bath. Food for both dinner and breakfast was great and a bonus of some monkeys hanging around was good too.
The drinks at dinner were too expensive. no beer machine

decor is dated and shabby; far from major sights, with few shuttles; bathrooms are poorly lit, no shower head, just a hand held wand
