Astoria - Willa Literatów

My favorite thing about this willa was the location. It is on the edge of town, next to a wonderful restaurant and steps from the forest, which leads to the Tatras national park. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast included bread, cheese, sliced meat, and jam. The coffee was strong, and the ladies serving were very kind and friendly. Check in was easy, they sent me the door code and the keys to the room were already in the door.

One of the reasons I chose this property was the included breakfast. But in the end, I didn’t eat much of it. Some fresh fruit, eggs, yogurt, etc. would have improved the breakfast experience.

Astoria hotel in Zakopane is hard to describe in words, because it is a magical place beyond words. And yet it's all about words! For it is a a hotel celebrates Polish literature. Now if you combine that with such friendly staff you'd think you're with family, you can imagine it's a veritable second home for many guests who return here each summer and winter. It's that friendly and welcoming. I promise this truly cannot be overstated. The warmth and friendliness of this wonderful place is second to none. Add to this pleasant and spacious rooms, outstanding food, and one of the best locations in Zakopane right at Dolina Białego, and you know you can't go wrong booking a room. In Astoria, Polish literature, history, warmth, peace and quiet come together like in no other place in all of Zakopane: historically unique!
