Friendly pub and service. Comfy bed and good toiletries & hot drinks provided in the room
Squeaky floor boards and thin walls meant I could hear the person in the room above me when they got up at 6am and were moving around

Location was excellent for our purpose. We did not take breakfast, it was too early 8am to 9.30am, who wants to be up that early on a weekend break?
The restaurant evening food & staff were lovely.
We requested a room with a walk in shower & were advised by email that this was granted, however staff at the property said they had not rec’d such a request! I have difficulty getting into a bath but had to make do with what was on offer. The room needed decorating, it looked as if it hadn’t seen a paintbrush for many a year. Paper had peeled off behind the radiator & in the bathroom dirty sealant around the bath panel looked awful. The shower head over the bath was static & quite dangerous as regulating the water temperature was hit & miss & avoiding scalding hot or freezing cold was hard to do.
