Excellent, Excellent and Excellent.

Excellent location and atmosphere. The property is well-maintained, clean, and offers excellent value for money. The English-speaking support was very helpful, and the direct contact with the owner was a great advantage. His support at all times is highly appreciated. No any negative points except some suggestions to improve the comfort.

1. Switching the cooking stove to an induction cooktop would be a great advantage, as the current low-capacity electric stove takes a long time just to heat water. So it consumes a lot of time to heat food. 2. A wooden chopping board for cutting vegetables and fruits is missing and would be useful to have. 3. In the food options in the store, the “veg pizza” was not available in the freezer. It is very helpful and good choice if you maintain it. 4. In the sauna area, it would be better to maintain a common round jacuzzi (to accommodate 5-6 people at a time) with regular water filtration and circulation. This would help reduce significant water wastage.

Great place to stay in a unique setting - highly recommend.

Markus and team treated us very well. The self-serve is super easy and do try the fresh morning bread! Nice location and really enjoyed walking the trail to the castle - it’s worth the walk.

Memorable and amazing experience.

We loved everything !!! It was beyond what we imagined and our experience was really special. The authentic style of the this accomodation, the staff were so warm and welcoming, I loved the location surrounded by nature and beautiful cottages and super close to Füssen, which is where we explored. We wish we booked for longer here because there is so much to do here and lots of hiking trails nearby also. The fresh bread and food was delicious. Our room was immaculate. Thankyou so much !!!

We had such a lovely stay at Gutshof zum Schluxen. The farm was exactly what we needed.

We loved our stay at Gutshof zum Schluxen. The farm is so incredibly charming and the host was lovely. The fresh baked bread in the morning was so delightful. Unfortunately, the weather was not good while we were there so we could not see all of the beauty surrounding the farm. The animals on the farm were a fun bonus. I would love to go back to Gutshof zum Schluxen, hopefully next time we will have better weather. I would have loved to sit outside on the patio area and enjoy the charm of this place but it was too cold and rainy while we were there. Next Time!

Room had a lovely view, comfortable with good kitchenette. Very convenient location for Füssen and castles. However, as reception was not manned on arrival, we have to look around to discover keys. Emails could have given clearer instructions.

Location was great, beautiful.

It was too hot and no fan or air conditioning. Other guests were loud and were partying till late night and we couldn’t sleep due to loud guests. We had to leave windows open due to hot weather and all kind of bugs and flies got into the room.

Highly recommended, friendly and welcoming guesthouse in a beautiful location

An amazing experience. We visited on a family holiday with kids and stayed over for two nights. Wished we spent more time there ! The historic building on a working farm is unique and has been well-maintained. Markus was extremely friendly and helpful during check-in. The rooms were good and the reasonably priced little honesty shop was such a good idea. We made pizzas in the pizza oven there for dinner one night. The kids enjoyed the play room and there is an easy walk up the hill that has a great view over the valley, especially at sunset. The whole place had a very laid-back and friendly vibe that makes you want to go back.

Great place at a great spot

Staff was beyond friendly and the location is great. While there aren’t any shops and restaurants and such at waking distance, you’re not at all isolated. A couple of cycling and hiking trails directly pass by the property. If you want, even Neuschwanstein is at walking distance.

If I had to be picky I would say the beds could be slightly more comfy but nothing too bad.

The accommodation was fascinating. Room was clean and cozy. The nature around was charming. You can buy bottle of water, some sweets in the bar. You leave some money for this. We stayed for 1 nights but if I could I would like to stay longer. There are beautiful trail to castles around the lake.

The location was ideal, the hospitality was amazing and the place offers so many extra options (available bikes free of charge, food and drinks at reasonable prices if you want to eat on the premises, not to mention game rooms, sauna, and fitness room, all free of charge). The hosts are just warm, welcoming and available when needed.
