Christmas and New Years Retreat

We stayed 10 days at this beautiful, romantic and scenic location. Everything was just perfect. We wanted for nothing. Everything from Saunas, horse carriage rides, scenic tours and excellent restaurants were only meters away. The food, beer , wine, home made bread and buns and deserts were heavenly. Every question we had were immediately answered, researched and all was perfect. We will be returning fir two weeks in the summer. The staff, the local Community businesses and neighbors were excellent to deal with. The local communities were what one would expect from Bayern. Picture perfect. We were very Close to Austria and like the Schwangau area mountain ranges. They were a joy to climb. We visited 6 castles, including Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, and St. Mang in and around the Fussen area, Fort Claudia and Berg Ehrenberg in Austria. We visited many churches and Capelles. The St Peter Capelle, near Halblech-Berghof. was closed however the 15 stages of Christ were remarkable amazing. It took a long tome to walk up the steps to the Capella, however it was shorter than walking up to NeuSchwanstein and Fort Claudia by a few miles. Walking though the forests to get to some of the Fortresses were were scenic. The tree lines and the small trails were, somewhat covered in snow and ice. However we would want it no other way. All in all, it was a very remarkable stay. Many pictures were taken with our camera. We have Many unforgettable memories from this stay. Many thanks to the Hussmann family for making our stay very enjoyable.

There was nothing we disliked about this wonderful stay. It was perfect.

Very clean rooms warm and quiet place. Lots of wood. Nice environment.

Everything in the room was written in German. The cost of the toilet paper was 50 cents. The cost of the tablets for the dishwasher was 30 cents no one said anything for that. We had to use Google translate to read the terms after our arrival. There are accommodation fees 3 euros per person per day. Also had to use Google translate for that. We sent an e-mail for the kind of the breakfast we wanted and they blamed Booking for not receiving it. The reception was only till 12.00 noon couldn't find anyone after that time. You had to be an electronics expert just to manage to turn on the T.V. Everything closed after 20.00 hours.

Ein wunderschöner Ort für die ganze Familie, der sich bestens für eine Woche eignet.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr familienfreundlich. Angefangen von einem Kinderbett, über Kinderhochstuhl und ein ganzes Gartenhaus nur mit Spielen bis hin zu einem riesigen Garten mit Spielplatz und Fußballfeld. Ebenfalls außergewöhnlich ist die riesige Garage für Fahrräder inklusive üppiger Lademöglichkeit für E-Bikes. Darüber hinaus hat uns auch der Brötchenservice sehr gefallen und der gesamte Kontakt mit Frau Haußmann war sehr freundlich.

Alles bestens! Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Top Lage, guter Service und sehr sauber. Ein kleines Problem mit dem Fernseher wurde am gleichen Tag noch behoben.

Alles super, große saubere Ferienwohnung im EG mit zwei Schlafzimmern, kleine Terrasse. Freundliche Gastgeber, gute Ausstattung, Hund erlaubt. Toller Blick auf den See und die Berge, was will man mehr?

Es war alles prima und es gibt nichts zu meckern.
