The best thing here in the winter is the view, and it's magnificent: waking up to a sea view was unforgettable. With such a view, you even forget you're living in a plastic mobile home, which feels like a cabin inside—meaning very cramped. There's a wonderful large terrace, sun loungers, and armchairs; even in the rain, you can enjoy the view from the panoramic window. And nearby, to the left, is a beautiful castle, which is what we came for.
A few nuances: the entrance to the grounds closes at 8:00 PM, so if you're from the supermarket with bags, you'll have to walk. Parking is available across the street. A washing machine and dryer are available in the common area, but there's a fee.
The location is convenient if you're driving: close to Livorno with its beautiful waterfront, a huge supermarket, and the cypress avenue in Bolgheri.
What I'd change: since there's no dishwasher, we had to re-wash some cooking utensils. There were no wine glasses, so we used our own. But no glassware can outshine a wonderful view at the seaside.

The reception staff were very friendly and the beach bungalow was a good size and clean.
Just need a car to get everywhere.
