The good, the bad and the ugly !

Location amazing. Restaurant very good and reasonably priced , flavourful and excellent choices for vegetarian. The Spa is a 50m walk outside the hotel, it's well equipped, clean and a good variety of pool, sauna, steam etc. Highly recommend

Our room 305, was large however, the toilet is situated in a very small cupboard, which is so small my tall husband found it difficult to use. You cannot turn around in this tiny space at all and have to enter in reverse. Its the strangest toilet in a hotel room we've ever encountered. Large people would never fit !! The shower over the bath was ok but durectiinally the water constantly hit the shower screen and flooded the bathroom floor. The patio door was ill fitting and whilst the weather was not kind to us the doors didn't seal properly so the curtains blew on the inside ! The leather corner soda had rips in it !

Area of room quite large but not well configured, wasted space. Very hot when we arrived, curtains could have been drawn. Little surface for belongings. Only one chair.

No gluten free options for breakfast - (cereals or bread). Ran out of salmon, meat & most of the cheeses though part replenished after a slight delay.

Very disappointing stay - not worth the money.

Location

1. Large pebble area in front of the entrance makes it impossible to roll the suitcase. 2. Dirty entrance carpet and stairs carpet 3. Several steps to reach the lift. Very inconvenient 4. For a 200 EUR room a little fridge can be expected.

Enjoyable 3 night stay

Receptionists and breakfast staff very helpful. Good breakfast. Excellent location.Nice lounge and outdoor seating.

No air con. Quite hot in the room. Only paper cups provided by the kettle and tea bags. Had to ask for china ones from reception. No fridge so water provided was tepid. No swimming pool. Have to book into and pay at the spa to use indoor one.

Great location in a clean super comfortable hotel with helpful staff.

Breakfast was full of variety and it mattered little when attending, the choice was present. The room was large and comfortable, both the bed and the sofas. The bed had advertised special pillows and these were excellent and contributed to long peaceful sleeps.

The room has a fabulous balcony with a great view and chairs were provided In the latter part of the stay to sit out. These would have been appreciated earlier. There is only the door opening to the balcony so at night the room was warm and could only be cooled by it being open. A fan would be a very good addition to help with cooling.

Location was great, right on the seafront. Room was amazing, clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the sea. Complementary passes to the spa. Staff were great, very friendly & service was excellent.

Great location and although the road is close by the room was very quiet.

No air con and the first floor room's view was poor. Spa / gym are in another building. The gym is very small and half the equipment did not work correctly.

Good parking, nice size room in a pleasant position

The room furniture was cheap. There was no hooks at all in the bathroom to hang anything on. There were no English news channels available on the tv and the wi-fi was so poor the news on my iPad kept dropping signal. Out of the 8 hotels on this trip, this was twice the average paid and it was the most disappointing. We paid the extra for the spa but even that was not in the hotel, it was 3 buildings away. We were lucky in that it was not raining but there was a cold wind and it meant we had to get dressed and then changed again for the evening.

Clean, relaxing beach front hotel, close to many coastal attractions.

The room was spacious and location right in front of the beach was perfect. Free and easy parking was super convenient. Staff took covid measures seriously which we appreciated. Breakfast was good as well, although thinking back on it, perhaps a buffet breakfast wasn't the best idea given the circumstances.

The elevator is located up a few stairs and is tiny. I'm not sure what other accessibility features were available, but could be a serious issue for people with mobility issues.

Le personnels étaient aux petits services et on a apprécié seulement le repas

Nous avons séjourné récemment à l’hôtel le kastel et souhaitons vous faire part de notre profonde déception concernant la qualité de ce séjour. Si l’hôtel peut sembler propre au premier abord, plusieurs éléments sont totalement incompatibles avec un séjour agréable. Le spa était insalubre, et des odeurs persistantes d’urine étaient présentes aux abords de l’établissement, ce qui est tout simplement inacceptable. Concernant la chambre, de nombreux défauts étaient visibles : trous de chevilles dans les murs, traces sur le parquet, et surtout une literie extrêmement inconfortable, avec des ressorts apparents rendant le matelas insupportable. Ces conditions ne permettent absolument pas de se reposer correctement. Au final, ce séjour, qui devait être un moment de détente, s’est révélé très décevant et loin de nos attentes. Nous n’avons pas du tout apprécié ces journées passées dans votre établissement. Nous espérons que vous tiendrez compte de ce retour et restons dans l’attente d’un geste commercial ou d’une réponse de votre part.

Très bon hôtel pour sa catégorie. Bien placé, propre, bien chauffé (nous y étions en décembre) et personnel accueillant. Nous n’avons pas pris de petit-déjeuner sur place. Nous y retournerons.

La douchette était mal fixée et avait tendance à tourner, ce qui rendait la douche moins agréable. Nous aurions préféré une vraie douche plutôt qu’une baignoire.

L’emplacement est superbe et la vue magnifique. Cuisine du restaurant très bonne , beaucoup de choix au petit déjeuner, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Personnel très agréable et à l’écoute. Mention spéciale pour Marc et Moustafa . Merci beaucoup pour le surclassement chambre vue 180 😍

Très bien placé en bord de mer Personnel très pro et accueillant Chambre décorée avec goût et très confortable et belle salle de bain. Bref, rien à dire !

L’accès au spa (inclus) : Spa bondé à 18:00. La piscine est un bassin où barbotent les usagers. Difficile d’y nager (= faire des longueurs) Mais je ce n’est pas pour le spa que j’avais retenu cet hôtel :)

Très agréable week-end

Nous avons été très bien reçu par toute l'équipe, bienveillance, professionnalisme de tous . Le petit déjeuner fût gourmand avec du choix selon les goûts de chacun. Nous avons dîner sur place le soir au restaurant de l'hôtel, là également aucune déception, rapport qualité prix tout à fait en accord avec les plats délicieux que nous avons mangés . Merci à tous.
