A lovely hotel by the harbour

This hotel is in a super location in the port of Benodet. There was plenty of private parking behind the hotel. The room was large and comfortable with a view across the harbour. Even though we stayed towards the end of the season there were plenty of places nearby where we could eat in the evening.

There was some street noise in the night.

Really good relaxing time

The room overlooked the port, was very comfortable and had a really hot shower. The staff were very helpful and friend. The hotel is excellently located at the heart of the town

Pleasant and relaxing stay

Location was convenient with excellent private parking( important for our classic car) Good restaurants and beaches close by with pleasant walks right from front door

People in room above ours with noisy dogs woke us and kept us awake in early hours. Fortunately they only stayed one week. No coffee making facilities in room.

Highly recommended hotel.

Excellent hotel with very kind helpful staff, wonderful breakfast and private parking at the back of the hotel. I left my motorbike there for two nights and although there was no gate it felt very safe. Highly recommended.

Good location, parking on site. Can see that hotel is being renovated , our bathroom for example was very modern and fresh. Clean hotel but some areas tired.

Lovely location on the harbour. Staff super friendly. Nice breakfast. Free car park behind hotel. Walking distance to beach and restaurants.

The window in the cosy room on 5th floor is quite small so the view is only visible when standing in front. And you hear some noice from restaurant in front when open.

A enjoyable stay in Benodet

The Hotel has a lift to each floor level which is good. The room was very comfortable and the shower room although small had a decent shower cubicle. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay in Bénodet

The location is perfect and the view over the river from our room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were very helpful. They sent some great suggestions for places to eat and to visit. The breakfast was great.

The decor in the bedrooms is a little old fashioned and would benefit from being updated.

breakfast was poor - no fresh French bread, what was on offer was mass produced but unfortunately that seems to be common in France now (certainly in Brittany), bathroom floor tiles were loose and looked in need of of updating.

The welcome was excellent and the staff very helpful.

My impression was of a rather "tired " hotel that was in need of some renovation, rather than what appeared to be some emulsion paint "slapped " on: even onto the skirting boards in places. There was no restaurant for an evening meal, but a credit note was given for one of two local establishments. For one of these the amount credited would just about cover their basic menu. Didn't seem to meet the claim on the booking confirmation. All in all, I felt somewhat let down by what was called "The Grand Hotel ". I'm sure other visitors might not agree with my comments.
