Had a lovely relaxing stay and our little girl loved the swimming pool

Lovely hotel in great location fundementally clueless regarding hospitality.

Location, design aesthetic, and decor.

Booked hotel spontaneously after 7 hour drive. Chose it specifically for its jacuzzi, sauna, and pool. Jacuzzi was outside, uncovered, and at best 34 degrees. Minimum hot tub temp for an outdoor hot tub in winter is 38 degrees celsius. Hotel was also being renovated, and likely why I was given a room directly above the office/prep space for breakfast. Was not a problem until I was woken up at 06:00 due to slamming front doors and loud conversation directly below. Conversation went on for several hours, and prep for buffet started not long after. Sleep was impossible. Room was also too cold, and radiators did not work. No way to increase temp, so to warm up, decided to take a shower. No hot water at all; from sink or shower head. Lukewarm at best. Actually got cold IN shower. And obviously, hot tub not an option. Put on extra clothes and tried to go back to sleep. Impossible. Serious black mold problem in shower/bathroom too. Checked out. No query as to my stay. Mentioned I was rather unhappy. Explained why. Said there was absolutely ZERO soundproofing in room and that I could hear every word of the endless conversation, as well as all prep work being done. Said I lived in a flat over the dish-pit in a restaurant in Barcelona and it was similar, but actually quieter somehow. Said I had been awake since 6, and that I had a long drive home that day. Response was "sorry", not much else, and perfunctory at best. Said they should NEVER assign a guest to that room. "Sorry". Waited for an offer of a discount. Did not happen. Asked for one. Said she was not authorized to do so. Wrote down my name, phone # and email address. Asked for manager to contact me. Said she would. Allowed my body language and tone to showcase my extreme displeasure and annoyance. No response. No offer of free coffee. No offer of free breakfast. And of course, no one ever contacted me. I got somewhat used to this kind of atrocious customer service in Germany.

We have stayed here a few times and it is always a great place to stay , very welcoming, clean and comfortable, great breakfast and parking on site, just a few minutes walk to the centre of Roscoff . 5*

Would definitely come again but would want a bigger room.

Helpful and accommodating staff. Good continental breakfast. Very clean. Bed very comfortable. Pool/spa looked good although we didn't use it. Parking and proximity to the town excellent

I appreciate we booked a standard room but the bathroom was very small and rather awkward to use. A shame as it looks to have been recently refurbished.

Lovely Hotel In Great Location

Excellent location, easy walk to restaurants and 5 minute drive to the ferry port. Free parking, friendly welcome, very comfortable bed, powerful shower, tea and coffee facilities, good WiFi. Standard room is small but fine for one night. Pool looked lovely, will try next time, robes and towels provided too. Would stay again and recommend.

Some info in the room (WiFi code, breakfast times) would be helpful and some music in the breakfast room would have been nice but that's just being really picky.

Perfect location for ferry port

We arrived in the evening on a ferry from the UK. We were travelling around Northern France in our van, but as we got in late, we decided to b&b it for the first night. This lovely hotel was just perfect. The staff were fabulous, no problems checking in as they knew when we were arriving, the rooms were adequate, a little small, but fine for our 1 nights stay. Nice and clean, shower was lovely and the beds comfortable.

We opted for breakfast as we didn't know when our next meal would be!! I was a little disappointed with the breakfast, maybe it's a French think, but there was nothing 'hot', even down to a slice of toast. Plenty of it though, but just not our cup of tea.

We received a warm welcome by the staff who explained everything. The location was great, being a few minutes' drive from the ferry.

Good selection of items for breakfast. Always a table free when entering the room. Allocated a room with walk-in shower and near lift after emailing hotel re my mobility issues.

Poor value for money compared with previous years

The convenient location and parking.

We have stayed in this hotel many times but this time the price was more than 50% dearer than previous visits (including less than a year prior). The price was very high for a small room in the roof area with a large skylight window that could not be opened to allow fresh air.

Enjoyable friendly stay

Location was quiet and calm; a short walk from the town centre. The breakfast was lovely: meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurts, bread, croissants, cereal, good coffee etc We had an attic room with a view over the rooftops and glimpse of the sea. Big opening window. Work is being carried out around the car park at the time of our visit

Lift out of order, we were on the 3rd floor at 70 years old! The room was small and incomplete. Door handles missing. TV precariously positioned and fixed, you had to dodge it to pass. Decorating wasn’t finished or a good standard.

The Hotel Triton is in an excellent location to town beach and main road out of Roscoff.

We loved the central location. It was very close to a local beach and also the centre of Roscoff. Another plus is that the hotel had its own car park. The hotel was also very clean and modern. Staff friendly and helpful.

Really convenient and well priced.

Excellent staff welcome and general hosting.

Unfair really but the dining area is being extended and so the current area is cordoned off by a green tarp. There's no natural light so a little grim! However, the new extension area looks amazing and can't be far off completion. One thing that could improve the breakfast dining experience at the moment would be some low, background music - otherwise it's slightly stilted by the hushed, self-conscious conversations!

Perfect for short stay break

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fine. Good parking on site, and good location. Staff really nice and helpful. Really good relaxed atmosphere.

Lift not working. Nothing on the website to say lift is not working currently. And although offer of help to get luggage to our room on the second floor, would have liked to have known this. Short term renovations. That said, we have stayed here before and would certainly stay again. A lesson learned to check with hotels that they have the services you need.
