Great views but the spa isn’t very friendly

Nice views over the beach and the rooms were good.

I got told off in the pool as my Speedo swimming shorts were not tight enough. You also have to buy a swim hat and sandals if you don’t have them already. The pool area didn’t seem to be very child friendly.

Hotel Valdys Thalassotherapy met all our expectations and more. The staff were welcoming, friendly and informative. Although we never had any spa treatments, we did make extensive use of the pools and steam rooms. Everything was clean, working properly and provided what was expected. The location, 5 minutes walk into town, was perfect.

Nice hotel, good location

Nice hotel, on the quieter side of town in terms of footfall

Had to wait another hour after check in time to have access to our room, we were given a voucher for a drink while we waited. Spa pools were far too busy to enjoy much time, people queueing to get into the jacuzzis. Noisy due to seagulls, not the hotels problem but led to lack of sleep anyway.

Would have been helpful to know that the parking was not actually at the hotel but 100 metres away. This wasn’t a problem except by the time you were at the hotel you had to go round a one way system to get back to the car park!

Perfectly hotel for the beach and Roscoff

Perfect location, right next to the beach and a short walk into the centre to the restaurants and shops etc. The spa and pool are wonderful. Staff friendly and speak much better English than I speak French! Rooms are nice and have lots of wardrobe space. Good coffee machine. Fridge. Plenty of towels and lovely shower gel etc. Parking is available but in busy times can be hard to find a space as non residents clearly use the car park too; there was a barrier last time which has gone. Wonderful and much appreciated late checkout time which made it easy to get the ferry back.

Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Lots of choice but one morning out of three the scrambled eggs were just liquid and inedible. The rooms get quite dusty and could do with a deep clean, BUT a lot of sand will be brought back into the rooms by guests from the beach.

Overnight stay before departure via Brittany Ferries

Liked good shower, magnifying glass in the mirror (but for adults it’s too low) comfortable bed. Room in general comfortable our stay was too short to comment and we weren’t able to have dinner so unable to comment on stay in general

We did not have breakfast due to an early check out. I rang the hotel 3 times with no response from the hotel to book dinner in the hotel. When we checked on there was no availability. For non French clients tv was disappointing Also the parking was too far away.

Fabulous location. Great sea views. Lovely little spa. Roscoff has many restaurants and there’s a free bus during the summer to get around including the harbour. Spa has a sauna, steam room and 2 outdoor hot tubs. There are 2 saltwater pools. One for exercise and a larger one with multiple massage jets. Very helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant is extremely good.

Could use more strengthening kit in the gym.

Excellent Spar Hotel, great getaway.

The Spa is magnificent. Great location right next to a clean sandy tidal beach. Short walk to town centre where there is a good choice of eating establishments. Town itself is clean and quiet. Short drive 10 mins from ferry terminal.

Wi-Fi a bit hit and miss. Unfortunately our room was quite adjacent to a service area of the hotel which the the staff also used as a staff room. Could be a bit noisy if you are a late sleeper.They can’t do much about it though it was a little annoying but not to intrusive, it’s only on one side of the hotel I could have asked for room change but not worth it for a short stay.

Nice hotel and location , disappointed that I couldn’t use the pool or tub because I only had swimming shorts 😫

The bar closes at 8.30 pm There is no on site parking, You have to wear speedos and everyone has to wear a swimming cap ( I’m bald anyway ) ( the photos are misleading ) to use the pool or the hot tubs. Resteraunt is usually full ( book ahead ).

Beautiful hotel in lovely location, excellent breakfast..

Our rooms were comfortable, clean, well equipped,with good views lift access. Staff were all very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was extremely good and well laid out. The hotel truly is right by the beach, with no main road in between!

The bar shut by 9.00pm, the coffee shop and bistrot are not available in the evening. The main restaurant in the evening is expensive and not much choice. The main lamp in our bedroom was positioned so you could not avoid hitting your head on it. Parking very limited.

We enjoyed staying in our room with balcony and sea view. the Spa facilities were used daily, including the outdoor jacuzzi and the steam/sauna rooms. The pool with jacuzzi and waterfalls was the main attraction. Everywhere was regularly cleaned and maintained.

It was sometimes difficult to take a swim in the regular 'exercise' pool as classes were often underway. The room I shared with a friend could have been a little larger but was perfectly adequate for a week's stay.

as a vegan traveller France isn’t the best, however the barman was very kind and found me gorgeous croutons with tasty seaweed. The wellness breakfast was good enough

Very relaxing stay in Roscoff

Amazing location next to the seafront with great spa facilities (a swimming pool for doing lengths, another for relaxing, a steam room, sauna and salt cave) and 2 outdoor jacuzzis overlooking the Ile de Batz. Only a short walk to restaurants and cafes in Roscoff and right next door to a nice creperie (Le billig de la plage).

We did not know that we needed to bring flip flops and a swimming hat to use the spa facilities so needed to buy them in the hotel boutique which was quite expensive and an unexpected cost.

Absolutely superb location and excellent facilities in Spa made this holiday.

Location is amazing, we made our own meal arrangements, easy walk into town centre for variety of cafes, restaurants and shops . Pools and steam/sauna excellent.

Pity we couldn’t book an evening meal, always fully booked but it didn’t detract from the overall experience

Breakfast was great; really lovely staff; great views and absolutely super location. It’s a haven.

The shower taps were faulty (in one room only). The wind blew through the air vent all night and was noisy (in one room only).
