Brilliant food but poor accommodation

The restaurant was very good dinner was one of the best meals we had eaten in a longtime

The room was poorly furnished. We booked thru booking.comm and wete allocated a room on the second floor and very difficult stairs. We asked to change rooms and were charged another £30 which I didnt expect. When Iqueried this I was told it was grand comfort room which it wasnt. Reception was chaotic and the bill i was given was wrongly Calculated. It was put right but I got the impression that the owners were stressed. It was grossly over charged.

A lovely, friendly place with excellent food. Ideally placed for exploring the Breton coastline.

The bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. The evening meals were delicious. The service was excellent. The overall ambience was comfortable and friendly.

The bathroom was a little small. Tall people might struggle.

Rooms are in a redone house. Ours (#2) had the old fireplace, was large, comfortable. Meals were in the main building with nice bar, nice porch, and excellent food. Staff included the owner.

First stay in an Auberge

Spacious accommodation with quirky nautical themed decor. Huge double bed that was really comfortable. Bath and shower en suite.Drinks available all day.Evening meal ( menu changes daily)was delicious and good value.Continental breakfast was generous.Staff friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff lent us their own kitchen utensils to help us make a dinner (restaurant was closed). The nearby beach is very pleasant and had an open food stall very late in the evening.

The location was perfect - outside of Douarnenez, but very close. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I thought the price was a little high for the size of the room. It was a little rundown. I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed when we were there. It looked charming.

The statt is very friendly and supportive. The Restaurant is a beautiful stone-building as you can see on the pictures. The rooms are in a separate building, quite old but very clean.

Fantastic!

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We had dinner there and the food was amazing (with a vegetarian variant, not easy to find in this region). The hotel is a traditional Brittany house, in a very nice village in the country. This all together made it a perfect stay!

Un endroit reposant où il fait bon flâner. L'accueil est sympathique et chaleureux. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est confortable. La restauration proposée est de qualité. Nous recommandons sans réserve.

Le personnel est très accueillant et le dîner était de qualité.

Le petit-déjeuner, bien que correct, reste un peu cher au vu du choix proposé. La chambre et la salle de bain sont assez petites et le tarif semble élevé par rapport au confort. Nous avons l’habitude de voyager dans des hôtels de différentes catégories, et ici les prix paraissent vraiment très élevés pour la qualité proposée. La route passante génére du bruit, et l’insonorisation entre les chambres mériterait d’être améliorée, car nous avons entendu nos voisines discuter tard dans la nuit.

La situation nous convenait bien, bien qu'un peu bruyant pour les chambres du deuxième étage. Belle rénovation dans l'ensemble.

Le premier contact était très prometteur et le patron nous avait vanté sa cuisine et raconté son parcours. Les diners étaient corrects, sans plus. Beaucoup d'esbrouffe. Le plus irritant était leur petite fille qui importunait les clients pendant les repas. Les chambres du deuxièmes étage sont très exigues et cela n'apparait pas sur le site. Il y a une grosse différence de prix entre le prix Booking et le prix à l'hôtel.

Tout est parfait

C est clairement un sans faute : tout est parfait. Le cadre, l'accueil, le confort, la propreté, le petit déjeuner. Quel regret de n avoir pris qu une nuit !!! Nous reviendrons très vite. Merci ☺️
