Great weekend and a hotel we would return to

Good location. Decent bedroom. Good bathroom with clean towels. Coffee machine. Room at the back so nice and peaceful.

Breakfast plates weren’t taken away at all once we had eaten - they just piled up on the table. Breakfast food was good but wasn’t replenished quickly

Friendly, comfortable hotel!

This is a very comfortable hotel, we slept so well and loved the coffee machine in the room and the deep bath. The staff were lovely and spoke excellent English.

The purple decor is not to my taste but fine. The bathroom was a little tired, nice decor but some of the taps looked like they needed replacing etc Nothing that we minded much at all but also probably expected a larger room and better facilities for a 4 star.

Very good, impressive.

The room was gorgeous; great space for Paris, well decorated. The bathroom was well decorated. The provision of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was fantastic. Reception staff were brilliant. The location is excellent.

The egg boiling was difficult, too a long time and had to plug and unplug the machine. No kettle or mugs /cups for non coffee drinkers. I prefer a separate shower rather than over a bath.

Cute and comfy hotel with lovely staff

The location, staff, ambience, cleanliness and comfort level were all excellent. Really enjoyed my stay.

For an 8 night stay I would have preferred a cpl more conveniences like a kettle at least. I know it's not set up as an apartment but also an iron would have been handy too.

Good affordable hotel for Paris

I loved my stay at the hotel. I stayed in a double room and it was big enough (for Paris), I had a desk and a chair and a fridge and a wardrobe. Also a big mirror. The bathroom was ok. I loved the pillows (4 big + 2 small). The hotel itself was quiet and it had a working elevator. Its location was perfect for me. There's a metro 3 minutes from the hotel and another 10 minutes from the hotel and also bus stops for the center, and I felt safe in the neighborhood. I went back home once at 1:30 with the night bus from the Pantheon and it was ok to walk 10 minutes on the dark streets.

The hotel had a coffee maker, but not a teapot (for tea-drinkers like me). And it could have given complimentary bottle of water each day as the tap water was weird (but drinkable). In the morning it sometimes was noisy on the street from the traffic. Also the electricity socket was turning off when you turn off the lights to sleep, which was really inconvenient for my ever working laptop and so I used the socket of the TV instead (and it worked fine).

- breakfast was very poor; offer limited; every day the same; the only “healthy” stuffs were cucumbers and apples - bathroom was not really clean; especially shower - one of the two taps didn’t work > not really a four star hotel

Wonderful stay and great experience and memories..

Local, non touristy feel and convenience. The building’s interior design and style has lots of character and French nostalgia.

Great Hotel with Great Staff, but unreliable wifi connection

I like how the hotel was very close to grocery stores, a bakery and the metro. I really enjoyed the crossiants and espresso machine for breakfast. There were Great and friendly employees.

The only downside was the wifi connection. The wifi did not work up in the 3th floor and basically only worked in the lobby. I was visiting from the US but was still planning on working remotely so the unreliable wifi connection made this difficult.

I was impressed with the level and help and friendliness. I felt it was genuine.

Everyone was incredibly friendly, from all receptionists to the breakfast's waiter, the cleaners... If you like to be well served, this is the place to go.

Good

Very efficient air conditioning and excellent shower. Towels of very high quality. Great location near Metro and fantastic Indian restaurant across the road - a real bonus in Paris! We will definitely stay again.

Basic maintenance tasks should be undertaken - handrail on stairs loose, missing section of skirting, door-stop broken leading to wall damage, tiles on bathroom floor cracked and subsiding. This is a shame as the original fit-out was to a very high standard!

Good vibes, value for money!

Nice decoration, romantic vibes. The bathroom was very comfortable. The location was convenient if you are willing to use a train/car or if you like walking (nearest site at 30min by foot).

Everything else is bad. Breakfast is so short in everything. You have to cook your eggs by a boiler, two types of cheese in France - imagine in France two types of cheese.
